This was an awesome recipe. I wasn't able to get ahold of any oatmeal but granola substituted just fine. I would recommend eating it as soon as possible. It was still warm and delicious after a couple hours of waiting but the crispness just wasn't there. I did get asked for the recipe which always means its a success. :)

This was awesome! I followed everything but used caramel ice cream topping like others suggested and I baked it at 350 for about 30 minutes. I took it to church and it was gone in a hurry! I will be making this again and again :)

The taste was awesome, but I wish that the crisp on top would of been crispy and not gooey.

I was planning on baking this in the oven, like one of the previous reviewers, but I ran out of time, so I cooked according to the directions. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised! It wasn't quite as pretty as other crisps, but it was very tasty. I will try to bake another time, but when you're pressed for time, zapping this up in the microwave lets you have a great tasting treat quickly.

The taste was okay but as a previous reviewer, mine too tended to separate so didn't look real appetizing. Instead of being gooey there was about a half inch of liquid on the bottom (maybe it was the type of apple I used). I did like the flavor - I originally thought it would be to sweet but it was about right.

This recipe was the first thing I have ever made in the microwave in years. It was a hit with my family. I did use the caramel dip instead of caramel squares. The topping had a crunch to it too! It was so fast and easy.

This was wonderful! I usually make a butterscotch apple crisp, so this time I made one of each. I couldn't tell much difference at all, and this one was easier! This will be a new fall favorite.

This was delicious- I seriously couldn't stop eating it! I made it with Honey Crisp apples and it was amazing! I added the tbsp butter to the caramel and used milk instead of water. Can't wait to make it again!

Incredibly easy and incredibly yummy! I can't believe I made this in the microwave! The only change I made was to add 1 Tbsp. butter to the caramels and use milk instead of water. This is a wonderful dessert whether you make it in the oven or microwave. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!

I didn't have wrapped caramels on hand, so made caramel in a pan and poured it over. This is an unusual, twist on a traditional dessert, and I will do it again!!

Very tasty recipe. It is easy to make and it has a great balance of sweetness when I used the tart apples. Delicious.

Absolutely Delicious! I used caramel ice cream topping instead of the caramels and served with ice cream. So very good! I thought the oatmeal might be mushy like breakfast oatmeal but it wasn't. Perfect dessert!

I made this recipe for my in-laws and my family and it was delicious! The only thing I did different was to put a little extra caramel on top. We ate it with cool whip and french vanilla icecream...yummy! The whole pan was gone in minutes!

This was a quick and fabulous recipe. I modified for diabetic purposes and used whole wheat flour, splenda and sugar free caramel topping along with smart balance butter spread. I also backed it in the oven for more crispness. It was a big hit.

I have to say, this is the best apple crisp I've ever made. I love the caramel flavour and the crispiness of the oatmeal mixture on top. I will make it again and again. I did alter the recipe however. Rather than using the microwave instructions, I put the caramel and oatmeal mixture over the apples and baked it at 350 for about 40 minutes.

This was really good! I never made apple crisp in a microwave before so I was a little skeptical, but it was fine. The caramel was a nice touch, although my daughter and husband didn't even know it was in there until I told them. Don't expect it to look exactly like oven baked apple crisp, I am used to it being bubbly and only the edges were on mine, although the topping was plently crispy enough for us. It was nice to have this in 20 minutes rather than the hour it takes by oven! Thanks for the recipe, I'll definitely use it again! P.S. Next time I may try using the caramel ice cream topping instead, may be easier and more of a prominent caramel taste than the candies.
