This is outstanding. Easier than anything I've ever made. I use the premade piecrust rolled up in the dairy section, after peeling apples, slice in half, use a melon baller to get out the "guts", then slice those halves into thin slices. Add the caramel, dump them into pie crust, sprinkle with cinnamon, and using a cuisinart to mix the butter - add the oatmeal on its own and stir, pour over pie, bake 400 degrees for 30 minutes and 15 more mins. at 350. Perfect every time and a crowd pleaser.

With the addition of caramel this apple crisp far exceeds the average apple crisp recipe. My husband gobbled up the entire dish before I could go back for seconds! Absolutely yummy! I did bake mine at 350 for 35 minutes instead of the suggested microwave and next time I will probably add more oat mixture to make it more crispy.

Fantastic! Got rave reviews with this! To make it easier, I used about 3/4 jar of Hershey's Caramel Sauce ice cream topping. Poured about 1/2 of that on the apple mixture and the other half on top of the crumble. It was so delicious! Thank you!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this turned out in the microwave (!), but I would probably bake it in the oven next time. I used Granny Smith apples and followed the directions using Kraft caramels. I topped the crisp with Girl Scout Samoas ice cream - awesome. Thanks!

This is excellent, I was in heaven, used my mother in laws apples she froze for me over the fall, [thawed] and used caramel topping. Thanks, just gained another two pounds. ;)

Replaced the carmels with carmel ice cream topping and it was a hit with the kids.

I baked in the oven as other reviewers suggested. It was extremely tasty and wonderful, but next time I will add a little flour to the apple layer to hold the juice together better -- it was a little too runny.
