This ice cream was amazing! The kids absolutly loved it! Made it for Jakes birthday...I used 8 candy bars -- and filled to the fill line with whole milk, but other than that, I made no other changes. This was so good...froze very well and tasted better than any I've ever made!

It tasted great, but I followed the recipe (scaled down to 1/4 because I was just testing it out) and my ice cream freezer said 30 minutes and after 75 minutes, it did not get even slushy, let alone like ice cream. It tasted good and was OK after I stopped the ice cream freezer and just froze it, but I was hoping for some soft serve and that never happened...

Living in West Africa Ice Cream costs allot. So I decied to make my own and use this recipe and it came out great. My family loves it.

I found this recipe WAY to sweet. I gave it 3 stars because my 10 year old daughter loved it but none of my other kids did. Good idea with the Butter Finger bars but the base ice cream recipe needs some work.
