Fabulous! Made them for Easter and my family loved them. They are very sweet and buttery, but yummy. I added chopped pecans that I think helped cut the sweetness. Great make ahead recipe too.

This dish is too sweet. I think the marshmallows or the sugar should be omitted.

Great recipe. Made it this past Christmas and it was a hit with the ham. I used yams instead of sweet potato and cut the butter and sugar to 1 cup. I might decrease the amount more next time. Will keep the sam amount of marshmallows, though!

Awesome! The only thing I changed was I only used 1 cup margarine and I also topped it with a mix of sugar and cinnamon. (and then added the marshmallows on the top during the last couple minutes of cooking.)

My daughter begged me for sweet potatoes so I tried this recipe. I took the advice of others and halved the butter. I'm not a big sweet potato fan, but this recipe is really really good.

These were really good but really sweet! I used butter instead of margarine and didnt top with marshmallows. I think I will follow other reviewers and cut back on the butter next time. Other then that they are very very good!

The Best candied sweet recipes I've come across in quite a while.I had to do a little changing because of my Diabetes.Instead of the margarine, I used Smart Balance spread and for the Brown Sugar, I used half the amount of Splenda Brown Sugar. It came out great and my family loved it.

This recipe provided unrestrained gratification as i became self-indulgent,it truly borders on being decadent,a must for special occasions.I changed 1 stick of butter for the margarine and a teaspoon of vanilla extract, everything else the same.(Blew the diet)

I have never liked candied yams before this recipe. I cut and peeled the 4 big yams before I boiled them. I didn't have the oven space, so I put them in my crockpot. They were on low for 2 hours. I also added another cup of marshmellows at the very last moment but they still melted. This recipe certainly changed my view on yams!

These potatoes did come out delicious. I am a person that doesn't like my food too sweet. I used canned yams which already come sweet. So as a result, I cut the sugar in half. There is sugar in the marshmallows, and this adds additional sweetness to the recipe.

Make these for Thanksgiving! I made them last year and my aunt called and asked me to bring the sweet potatoes I brought last year. Her family never likes sweet potatoes and they loved these. That's the best compliment anyone can ask for!

This was very simple. I did have to par boil the tables longer than 15 minutes. and bake it for an hour but, other than that, it came out great.
