Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup raisins, chopped
  • 3/4 cup candied cherries, chopped

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine the flour, cinnamon and baking soda; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in the pecans, raisins and cherries.
  2. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
