We alway use frozen frrench cut green beans for this recipe, and have always used Worchestershire sauce rather than soy sauce. Did the original recipe on the fried onion can call for Worchestershire sauce way back when it was still made by Durkee? Anybody other than me old enough to remember Durkee brand, lol?

I make this recipe about once a year because my family likes it. To me, it is just canned beans and soup. Absolutely nothing special about it.

This is a favorite for ANY holiday EVERY time! I use low-sodium canned green beans and have also used French cut green beans - both work wonderfully!

Yeah, it's just plain old good, but let me tell you a secret. I was out of cream of mushroom soup, and made it with cream of chicken, and it was so great, we've never gone back! Also, I crumble bacon on top along with the onions, if I'm feeling like I may be looking too thin. You know how that happens somedays! Ha!

This green bean casserole is simple and good. It is traditional and that is exactly the way my family likes it. You can add more too it if you prefer or you can keep it simple. Delicious!

A classic! I omit the soy sauce and halve the amount of milk in this recipe. The results are a creamy vegetable side dish rich in flavor and yummy enough for all ages to love.

I tried this at Christmas. Decreased the mild based on previous reviews so the texture was good however it was rather bland. One guest thought it was good, the rest of the guests were pretty neutral on it. Ok but wouldn't make it again.
