This is my favorite recipe on this site. I love this marinade and have made it many, many times. I love it so much that after using this site for years, this is the only recipe I've rated. I follow the recipe exactly and it's perfect! One thing I would add is DO NOT let the meat marinade for longer than a few hours. I have made the mistake of letting it marinade overnight a few times, and the responses from my guests are drastically different. A few hours is perfect!

Made these with chicken and beef this weekend for 8. Excellent, easy marinade with rave reviews. Served with New Orleans Style Rice Pilaf. So Good!

This marinade would be good for fish or chicken but the lemon flavor did not go well with steak.

These Kabobs are amazing! For some reason, I'd always been nervous to try making kabobs, and I'm so glad these were my first attempt! The marinade was delicious with just a little zing. We used yellow onion, green peppers, and mushrooms. Note: They do NOT turn out the same if you broil them; grilling is a MUST!

AMAZING! I let it marinate for about 6 hours and seperated the veggies from the meat. I didn't marinate the veggies, just skewered them and drizzled with EVOO and garlic salt. Simple and delish! Everyone raved!

We really enjoyed these kabobs! I loved the flavor the lemon added to the beef and the fact that the marinade was not too oily. We used red and green peppers, red onion, and whole baby portobello mushrooms. Served over brown rice.
