"My aunt gave me this recipe years ago. When my boys were young, they weren't very fond of beef, but this was a sure way to entice them to eat."

DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, combine the first nine ingredients; mix well. Pour 1/4 cup marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; cover and refrigerate remaining marinade. Add beef to the bag. Seal and turn to coat; refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.
Drain and discard marinade. On metal or soaked wooden skewers, alternately thread beef and vegetables. Grill, uncovered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until beef reaches desired doneness, basting frequently with reserved marinade and turning once.

I had this marinading for about 24 hours. Maybe that was a bit too long. It came out a little on the tangy side. I used red/green peppers and red onion.

I made these as written, but used the veggies we prefer (zucchini, red onion, red bell peppers), and we really enjoyed it!

Good basic kabob recipe. The marinade had a nice flavor. I broiled them, and they turned out well. I am sure they would have even been better on the grill. I had some grape tomatoes on hand and added them to the skewer... not a good idea as they got mushy. I'll stick to the basic recipe. It's a keeper.

This was my first try at making kabobs and we all thought it turned out well. It ended up only marinating for an hour and a half and it was still flavorful. Optimal marinade time is probably 1.5 - 3 hours, depending upon your taste. Go kabobs!

Easy, nice to look at, and everyone seemed to like it, but not a "wow!" dish. I used sweet onions, as regular ones would taste too strong for my kids. Thanks for the recipe!

This recipe was just great! Very tasty and easy to do. I used chuck steak insteak of sirloin. The flavor of the marinade made the vegetables and meat a hit with my husband and myself.

Pretty good! I enjoyed the flavor more than some other marinades I've tried, and not as much as others. I used mushrooms, red peppers and zucchini as the veggies. Thanks for the recipe Bet!

Very good kabobs. I just did mine veggie and threw them on the grill as a side dish. I did mine overnight, and while they tasted fine, the mushrooms fell off the skewers and had to be put back on. Next time I'll probably make them in the morning and let them soak in the maranade until its time to cook.
