I just made this for my mother-in-law for mother’s day. What a wonderful twist on an old favorite. While I wouldn't serve this to my toddler, (much too spicy) the rest of my family really enjoyed it. I had absolutely no problems making this recipe. I found the Andouille sausage was carried by AJ's here in Arizona, and I would suggest getting an extra link to make sure you have half a pound AFTER you remove the casings or it might be a bit soggy.
I served it with some corn on the cob and it complimented the spicy dish very well!
