I made the shrimp exactly according to the instructions and they were YUMMY. Husband and I definitely enjoyed and I will make again. I served with brown rice and a side of veggies.

This was excellent! I used fresh garlic rather than powder, and I added some flour at the end to thicken it up a bit. Would go great with some linguini. I thought about upping the cayenne pepper, but I'm glad I didn't, it's quite spicy!

We did not like this at all. It is very unappealing to the eye and not much better to the tongue!

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Perfect amount of spice, wouldn't change anything about it. I did, however, squirt some lime juice on the raw shrimp before i threw it in the skillet. I served it with dirty rice and it was awesome!!!

I needed to triple this recipe for a large dinner party. I marinated the shrimp (tails on) and cooked them some at a time, just enough to fit the pan. Then I returned all to the pan and cooked some more. The shrimp were not tough (as you might expect) and my guests raved about them.

Quite good, VERY easy & fairly healthy too!!! I was a little concerned about the nutmeg - it can be such an overpowering spice - but no worries! Also, I cut down on the cayenne just a little due to other reviews about spiciness... Next time I'll use the entire 1/8 tsp, maybe a little more. Thanks for a great recipe!!

This was a tasty recipe, but maybe 3.5 stars, if I could do that. The taste was good, but my wife and I don't have very refined taste buds, so all we tasted was spicy, we didn't taste the garlic or the nutmeg. Also, we ate just the shrimp as sort of an appetizer, and I think this recipe would be much better when paired with the right foods, alone it is just kind of plain. We let four other people try this recipe and none of them liked it at all, it was too spicy for them. But I didn't think so, I thought it was perfectly spicy.

Delicious and fast (especially if you don't have to peel the shrimp). We didn't have cayenne pepper so used chili powder and crushed chili peppers instead. A great weeknight meal.

I made these for Velentine's Day - they were very tasty! The combination of spices really works well and it was quick and easy (cooked them while the steaks rested). Only thing I would do different next time is put a little less salt.

Nice spice--as a fellow Texan, I figured I could stand it a bit hotter and used 1/4 t. African Cayenne Pepper--yeah, that was a bit too much. But the overall taste was really good!
