I don't normally leave reviews but I had to on this one. First, I have to say that I'm not a fish eater. But catfish was on sale and I decided to give it a try. This recipe took NO time to prepare and came out sensational. I did the recipe exactly as written and it was excellent. This one is definitely a keeper. The fish was not too spicy but definitely had enough flavor for anyone's taste. I do not like spicy but my husband is not happy unless his mouth is on fire. We both thought it was great. I will be making it again!!!

This was wonderful, since most of my family like a crust on their fish, I added all ing. to one egg and added some milk, dipped catfish in to mixture and coated with breadcrumbs. I turned out great. I will add a little more of the seasonings next time as adding the egg and milk I think diluted the flavor some. Thanks for the post.

This was excellent. I added a couple of finely minced cloves of garlic, used garlic powder instead of garlic salt, and added 1 tsp of Old Bay. This was served over a bed of Mexican rice (Mexican Rice III from this site).

This is the first time I've reviewed an on-line recipe; this one is so good I had to comment. It is EASY, exactly as much effort as I'd like to put into dinner on a work night. I had only 1 lb of catfish, so cut the recipe in half, and used garlic powder instead of garlic salt, chipotle tabasco for hot sauce, japanese pepper for pepper--and no cayenne. It still had some spicy heat. Even with the quirks of my convection oven the fillets came out perfectly cooked and delicious. We ate it with steamed cabbage and corn tortillas. Thanks for a new and fast way to fix catfish.

I switched the catfish for Tilapia - but otherwise stuck with the recipe. It was great!

This was really good. I haven't eaten any kind of fish (except Sashimi) since I was a kid, but for health reasons, have decided to add it to my family's diet. I was really nervous about cooking catfish for the first time, but this recipe couldn't have been more delicious. Even my 6 year old loved it and asked for seconds!

Fabulous! I didn't change a thing except for subbing in olive oil for the canola. I really can't say enough about this catfish! This is an amazingly simple, quick, and healthy way to get some fish into your diet. I planned on serving it on top of a salad with Cumin Vinaigrette dressing (from this site) but I can't stop eating it right out of the baking dish!

I love this recipe; the only change I made was to add some minced garlic to my spice mixture. I was worried it would be too spicy, but it turned out perfectly. I will make this over-and-over.
