Followed the recipe to a "t", and ended up with a mess. The muffins would not come out of the pan, and the few that I did get out were messy with the chocolate bits that never hardened, but stayed gooey. I guess you could served them on a tray, but make sure there are napkins available. And forget storing them or they will smear all over each other and the container. Perhaps if you let them cool completely in the pan, or use baking cups they would come out cleanly, but I won't try them again.

The oatmeal gave them a strange chewiness.

These muffins were pretty good, but I couldn't really taste the coffee flavor. I used double strong coffee from my coffee maker instead of the instant, and I doubled the choc chips.

Very good muffins, very easy to make. You don't have to change a thing in this recipe except to double it!

I used only 1/4 cup chocolate chips--that was plenty--and 2/3 the amount of sugars. I also added a little more coffee. The batter ended up being too thick, probably because the oats soaked up all the coffee/water, so I added 1/3 cup milk at the end. Also, this made 6 regular muffins.

As a college student with no experience cooking or baking anything whatsoever I was able to follow this recipe quite easily. I used peanut butter chips and they were a hit! I've already recommended this recipe to my friends! Thanks!

My hubby used to get a mocha chip muffin from our local grocery store once a week. He loved these and looked forward to "muffin day". But then they discontinued that flavor. He has been missing them for months. So I was happy to find this recipe. I just made these and hubby can't stop raving about them. The only thing I did differently was add 3 tsps of coffee instead of 2 (I wanted the flavor to be intense). I also made these into 6 regular sized muffins because I don't have a mini muffin pan. I baked them for 25 minutes. I personally can't vouch for these because I don't like coffee or coffee flavor anything, so I didn't even lick the batter off the spoon :-) but hubby says they were light and tender and had a good combo of coffee and chocolate flavors. He has requested I make these every week on his "muffin day".

I loved them- so did the family. I made big ones and then I added Cappucino chips with the chocolate chips. Really great for Mommy's late afternoon snack!

These muffins were so good. I made them as regular size muffins and they turned out great. My husband thought they were yummy and he doesn't even like coffee. I didn't have any instant coffe so I subsituted ready made coffee for the water and granules. I am going to make them for our next Team Meeting at work :)

These were very good but slightly dry. Also, made with all the sugar, they are too sweet for me. I would cut out all brown sugar next time. I would make these again but try to add maybe a little more liquid to see if that would moisten them up.

These muffins were good, but not spectacular. They were your typical chocolate chip muffins with a hint of coffee. Maybe if they were full size, they wouldn't have been a little dry.

I didn't realize these were mini muffins until I looked at the tiny batch, but they came out wonderfully. You can really taste the coffee in there but it is not too strong. The chocolate chips are a perfect complement to the recipe.

Very moist and nice and chocolately, but not too much. The hint of coffee was a nice touch. Will definately make again!

Absolutely Fantastic. I made these for a friend who was in the hospital. I like them better as a bigger muffin though. When I make mini muffins, they tend to dry out. I like my muffins moist.

While the flavor is really good, my husband and I are not fond of the oatmeal. I will probably try to adapt the recipe - but otherwise very good!

These were really good. The taste was wonderful. They remind me of a muffin I used to get at college. I did double the recipe and used a regular size muffin pan instead of the mini size. Also I used leftover coffee from the coffee maker instead of the instant. Very yummy.
