Caesar dressing at its best! Dressing was too thick though...(thus the 4 stars) I added 1/2 cup of milk to thin out and it was still very strong and flavorful, just like a Caesar dressing should be! I used homemade "Crostini" for a crisper crouton, instead of the stale bread in the garlic oil. Will not be buying "bottled" Caesar dressing after making this great recipe!

I didn't have the anchovies or anchovy paste so I just left it out, but those who ate it said when they make it you can't taste it either, it just adds the extra dynamic to the sauce. RAVE reviews when I took this to my sister-in-love's baby shower... I figured, it's Ceasar salad how amazing could this dressing be? And apparently it's AMAZING! Thanks for a Fantastic recipe... also, I used the Garlic Crouton Recipe from this site, and I was told that I can go to visit only if I bring those croutons!

Perfect! Exactly what I was wanting...but I did use some store-bought croutons that I needed to use up. Thank you! :)

Sorry but I didn't like this one too much, it has way too much mayo, I ended up adding more oil, black pepper, salt and extra lemon juice. I will stick with my original caesar salad recipe. Thanks anyway.

I liked this recipe very much. I used half of the garlic as suggested. I love garlic and I thought this change still allowed for a wonderful garlic flavor to the salad. I made the croutons using day old grocery store garlic breadsticks. I heated them up in the toaster oven until they were crunchy, around 10 minutes. I didn't use oil to make these croutons and they turned out wonderful. I didn't use anchovies either. My teenage son who doesn't like mayonnaise didn't like this recipe unfortunately.

I thought this was very good and quicker than the other caesar salad recipes I've tried. I will make this again. I thought it was a little thick, but that is easily solved by adding a bit of yogurt, red wine vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, etc. Next time I will try adding more dijon mustard and garlic for a little more kick. But this is a great recipe served with slices of grilled chicken breast for a main course.

Excellent great garlic flavor. I used store bought garlic croutons & anchovy paste. I also added more milk to thin the dressing. It makes a lot of dressing. Thanks for a wonderful salad, loved it!

I didn't use anchovies but it still tasted really good. I added some plain fried chicken in there to give it a little more taste and it worked great! I'll make it again when i'm in the mood for a great caesar salad.

The dressing is really great. I followed some other reviews and put all the ingredients in a mini chopper with a splash of red wine vinegar and milk to help combine. I did think there was just a tad too much garlic and I really like garlic. In fact I usually add extra garlic to most recipes. Next time I will reduce the garlic by one clove. I did make the croutons, which I thought were good, but I made the following modifications. I tossed them in the garlic oil until they soaked it up and started to get slightly crispy. Then I finished them in a 300 degree oven for 8 minutes after adding salt, pepper and parmesan cheese.

This was really good! I served it as a main dish with garlic bread...next time I might even add chicken. I used about 1 tsp. anchovy paste (and probably could have used a little more, but I was kind of intimidated by the stuff) and used store-bought croutons. Excellent recipe.

This recipe was very good, just as good as the raw egg version that I grew up eating. Lots of flavor which also means you are breathing garlic for the next day though...Lol.

This definitely a 5 star recipe...I only gave it 4 because it was very garlicy!! We LOVE garlic, but this was HOT! I think that I will try it again without using the largest cloves or maybe just use 2 as suggested by others! I used the 1/2 cup mayo and a 1/4 cup of greek yogurt and 2 tsp. of anchovy paste...it was just right! Absolutely delicious! Thank you Karen.

Tasted like a restaurant quality caesar salad... very very tasty! I used anchovy paste as it was easier to use than finely chopping anchovy filets as other reviews suggested. In an effort to but back on fat I used a scant 1/2 cup mayo and a generous 1/4 cup plain yogurt (didn't want the dressing to be too tangy). This was good! My husband and I didn't care for the croutons. I imagine that the dressing would taste even better the next day when the flavors have had an opportunity to mingle.
