I was very pleased with this recipe. However I thought it was a little thick (about the consistency of Ranch dressing), maybe thinning it out with a little less mayo would make it the best for me. But I also didn't use the anchovies, maybe that would have affected the thickness? I made this for a party I hosted and the guests raved about it. I will try again.

Fantastic. My new favorite. I used one less anchovy than called for but followed the recipe otherwise. Thank you.

This was soo easy and very very good. It makes a lot of dressing fyi. I used a head and a half of lettuce and it was still swimming a bit in the dressing (I blended it all together). So depending on how much dressing you like, I suggest you use 1/2 or 3/4 of the dressing - mix together with lettuce and use more from there depending on your liking. I did not make the croutons - just used store bought.

I think this is a good recipe but it has a little too much mayo for my taste.

Caesar Salad dressing with a kick! Loved this recipe, followed exactly, using anchovy fillets in olive oil from a jar. Downsized it a little and maybe had extra garlic which gave it the kick, but the flavor was terrific. My husband said it was better than any restaurant. Followed the Garlic Crouton recipe instead of frying in olive oil.

I added eggs and bacon (most salads are much better with eggs and bacon). To my croutons I also added some parmesan cheese and italian seasoning. Very good!

I just made this for my family of 5, with 2 kids home from college - all of whom are BIG caesar salad lovers...very very picky about their dressing. I did not change a thing in the recipe. It was a huge hit! Everyone loved it. Said it was the best they'd ever had -including restaurants. We were out later that evening and out of the blue my husband started talking about how fantastic the salad had been! One thing my kids didn't love were the croutons - thought they were "soggy". I would say they were actually crunchy on the outside and softer on the inside. Even tho' I loved them, next time I will make them 'crunchier' by popping them into the oven after cooking them per the directions on the stove. I'm so happy I found this recipe because it got me huge kudos from my family. Thanks! DELICIOUS!!!

This is my new caesar recipe. I did tweak it up the second time. Less anchovy and more garlic and lemon juice. Mahalo for the recipe.

Excellent flavor without the raw egg! Pulse everything together in a food processor for an even easier version.

Good, but the dressing flavor is too strong for me. I LOVE garlic, but I think the garlic and anchovies made for a rather strong taste. Not my favorite. Just depends what your preference is though.

Delicious and very easy. Tasted just like from a resturant. Gets better as the flavors have time to blend.

This was a great salad. I thought the dressing was a little thick and garlicky, but it was a delicious and authentic-tasting Caesar dressing which can be thinned out with a tablespoon or so of milk and/or olive oil. I crumbled some smoked salmon into salad, added some thin-sliced red onion, and squeezed a lemon wedge on top and it made for a perfect dinner.

A fabulous Caesar salad! It's restaurant quality and very easy to make. I reluctantly used the full amount of anchovies but I'm glad that I did. They add a nice depth of flavor and didn't make it taste fishy. I used store bought croutons which was fine but I will try the homemade ones next time.
