This was good - pretty well-received and made a ton! I didn't really like the marshmellows getting soggy. I'll keep it around as an idea, but not sure how often I will make it. The idea of 1 1/2 cups of mayo was a bit much for me, so I used 1 cup of yogurt and 1/2 cup of mayo.

Delicious! Don't replace tidbits with crushed pineapple as it will be to wet and hard to mix in. I used pineapple chunks, drained, and pulsed in processor to get small pieces with out all the liquid.

Served with simple grilled chicken...this was delicious and hit the spot. I did add a bit of additional salt and pepper. My only complaint was that it didn't keep well, so make a small enough batch to eat in one sitting!

This is a great recipe and completely surprised me. It has so much flavor - much more than you would expect with just mayo as the dressing. Everyone loved it and we didn't even add the apples. Can't wait to make it again.

I have made this several times and everyone has raved about it. The only modification I made was to reduce the fat a bit- 1 cup vanilla yogurt and 1/2 cup mayo.

The taste was wonderful! However, I don't think you should make this a day ahead. The marshmallows and apple seem to get a little soggy. That being said, I still got many compliments and was even asked for the recipe.

Fantastic! I had fewer ingredients than I thought after shredding the cabbage and carrots, but the combo still worked. I used 2 pears instead of an apple, one cup of grapes, a cup each of raisins and dried cranberries. I didn't have any pineapple or walnuts and had to chop up large marshmallows. Totally worth the effort. Next time I might add chopped toasted almonds.

Delicious! A great balance of flavors. I made half the recipe with no changes. I would bring this to any gathering.

This recipe is fantastic! I just made it for a party of 100 & many of my guests have requested the recipe. I was a little concerned about all that cabbage, so I made a regular size batch a week in advance... it disappeared in a day, when I asked my husband where the salad went, he grinned and said "what salad?" (and he hates cabbage)! I will make this often.

excellent recipe! i am eating some leftovers from yesterday right now as a snack, and i feel proud to know that i made a great salad. My husband loved it, my mother-in-law too, i even carried a small bowl of it for my mother who loved it too. The only change i made was i threw in a pinch of salt and a pinch of sugar, just to balance off the taste of the mayo. I also couldn't find any walnuts in the grocery, so i had to do without. This salad will definitely grace my table again, especially when there is company! ;-)

It was a light, delicious salad and ready in a very short while, and can be made the day before.
