I think soup is an opportunity to layer all sorts of flavors, but no matter what I did to this one, it just tasted like a bunch of stuff that came out of a can. My kids liked it, though (of course, they also like canned ravioli), and they didn't notice the cabbage, so I suppose that was a good thing. But this is not one I'll be making again.

Great recipe! I added a couple cloves of garlic and also used both tomato sauce and diced tomatoes as my family likes them in the recipe. I have also cooked this on the stove for about an hour and it turned out great.

Very good soup, but need something more. It did not jump out and grab my taste buds the way I thought it would.

Very, very good recipe. I was not sure how it would turn out. The only change I made was to throw in a can of pinto beans to sub a can of kidney beans (i only had 1) Very tasty. My husband that it was a lot like chili, I thought it was more of a stew than a soup. Either way very tasty. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great soup, and very easy to make. I was hesitant the first time I made this a year or so ago. But it was pleasantly surprising. My 3 young children even enjoyed it. We will continue to make this in the future.

Eh...could take this or leave it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as I anticipated after reading the reviews. My husband said it was okay. Won't make this again.

This is more of a chili than a soup, and I find I really prefer it that way! It didn't look like much going in and I was a bit worried that I wouldn't like it, but it was absolutely delicious and a great warm meal after leaving work on a cold day. My boyfriend loved it, too!

My husband loved this. I just didn't add the salt. I felt the bouillon had enough salt in it.

Yummy comfort food! I forgot to defrost my ground turkey early enough, so I ended up making this on the stove. I sauteed the onion and ground turkey, and added a clove of garlic. Then I added everything else. I simmered over low heat, covered, for 1 hr 20 mins. It came out wonderful. I added a full 30 oz of tomato sauce instead of 24 oz and I'm glad I did because it was a really "chunky" soup as it was. It didn't taste like chili at all to me, and I'm a big chili fan. It tasted more like stuffed cabbage without the rice (that would be a nice addition). Easy and delicious.

Yummy! I didn't think it would turn out so delicious. I always have hesitations when I look at the ingredients and see things we don't normally eat. Or I question how well they mesh. If you are the same way, make this recipe. It was so simple. Easy clean up. And the best part, my kids liked it. Sidenote: I cooked on high for four hours. Temp is too hot, it browned the beans and some of cabbage. I would suggest cooking on low for 6-8 hours. I also used 15 oz. tomato sauce. It needs 24 ounces.

Yum! I skipped the vegetable oil and used 2-15 oz cans of tomato sauce. This turned out really good. I sprinkled some shredded cheese on top, and it kind of tasted like a cabbage roll soup.

This was an excellent dish. I made a few modifications. The first was adding a teaspoon of minced garlic while browning the meat. In the slow cooker, I used three beef bullion cubes and one can of beef broth; did not add any water, only used one can of kidney beans (not drained), a 28oz can of diced tomatoes, and two stalks of chopped celery. I used nearly an entire cabbage head. I served this with garlic bread. Husband loved this dish!
