I made some adjustments to this recipe. I melted the butter, added 1thsp gluten, 1/4 cup w/wheat flour and used 21/2 tsp yeast. This will be my rolls recipe from now on. My husband and I love this recipe!!! The rolls are awesome, the right texture, the right amount of slight sweetness, so good when it comes out of the oven. The bread machine is great for this recipe. These rolls are good with jam, butter, cheese, even tiny sliders with chicken breast! I am never buying rolls again.

I would give it a 6 if I could. I have made this several times now. Very simple using the bread machine. I made no alterations to the recipe, other than I will sometimes let the dough rise for a couple hours, instead of the 15 mins the recipes calls for. My family requests these rolls all the time now. I don't think I will ever buy store bought again. These are that easy to make.

Wanted to try a roll using bread flour - big mistake. Bland, not light and fluffy at all. The rolls didn't improve in taste or texture after cooling down, either.

These are very yummy. I have made them twice now. They are fantastic out of the oven. If you have them the next day, make sure to heat them up a few seconds in the microwave!

Great recipe! Followed ingredients exactly and made for Easter Dinner. I did half the recipe as cloverleaf rolls and allowed to rise 1/2 hour. The other half of the recipe I made into regular rolls and actually forgot about them during dinner. So they rose about 2 hours. They came out just as good but a little less dense which I preferred. This will be a staple recipe for me.

I followed this recipe up until it started mixing in my bread machine. After 5 minutes, I checked on it and it was obvious that it needed more flour. I added about 1 cup more of flour, so I'm not sure if I really only added 3 cups earlier or I just did something wrong! I use my bread machine a lot, so it wasn't difficult to get the consistency corrected. After dividing up dough, I allowed it to rise for 30 minutes, and then also brushed melted butter on the top. Once baked (and warm from the oven) these were delicious! Sweet and soft and perfect. Will definitely make these again!

My "go-to" recipe for dinner buns. Even better than "tray buns" that I would specifically go to Safeway for.
