Oh my goodness! i cannot even begin to describe how good these are!! my mom asked me to make some rolls for a family get-together; they never made it to the table (lol, my sister, mom and i devoured on these: i halved the recipe)... we make them all the time; so so simple and amazingly delicious!! the only thing is that i use margarine; they taste like the bread they use for chinese buns (will try with some bbq inside next time!!) Thank you SO much for this recipe; if you havent tried it yet... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? You will not be dissapointed! :P

These were SO good! My family was very happy I found this recipe. Mine didn't turn out quite as "fluffy" as it sounds like they should, but that was probably my error somewhere. They still tasted very good! I added some garlic butter to the tops since we were having them with spaghetti.

Tried this for the first time a few weeks ago, realized half way through that I hadn't added the right amount of yeast. Added the yeast and while the rolls didn't rise that much they tasted really good. Will try again this weekend and I bet the results will be great. Thanks for sharing!!

Yummo! my bread machine cycle for dough took 1 1/2 hours but it was ok. When i took it out and tried to make into round rolls, I had some problems as the dough didn't really want to respond to it so I just tucked under the edges until it resembled a roll and set for 15 minutes under a towel which did not rise for me. Cooked in oven with nothing on top and when done, brushed on melted butter and the taste is fabulous! they even look like a roll after all! Mine are all different sizes and shapes but they all taste good.

This recipe is very easy. I had problems with it because I did not follow the recipe in using bread flour. I did learn a few things about baking bread. I learned that you could add gluten to your all-purpose flour to help it rise better. I did enjoy the taste and can wait to use this recipe again. Thank you!

My kids loved these. They were gone in a matter of minutes. Son even came back after dinner looking for more. A keeper! update 6/08. Now I proof the yeast before putting it in the bread maker. The rolls come out so much more fluffy and rise better.

This is the one! I've tried every kind of dinner roll recipe out there, and none of them come close to this one! I'm sure that stick of butter in there helps matters.

Wow these were great! Not only were they easy but they were so light and had a great texture. Very impressed. If you make these just be sure to give yourself enough time for the bread machine.

I recently purchased a bread machine and this was the first recipe I tried. It turned out so well that now I make these rolls at least twice a month. They're light and fluffy with a great flavor. I really enjoy the fact that they're not too dense. I like to leave a little extra flour coating the top of the rolls and then the last 5 minutes of baking I drizzle butter over the top.

I get requests every time I make these- for 6 people on Thanksgiving I actually ended up doubling the recipe, and they all disappeared (and that was 50 rolls)

I had regular yeast, so I put the warm milk, sugar and yeast in the bread pan and let it proof for 10 minutes. Then I added the rest of the ingredients, set bread maker to dough, and let the bread maker do the mixing. It worked great! I let them rise for an hour after they were on the pan. Best buns I have made ever!
