The family loved them. They were quick and easy. I will make them again but will still look for other roll recipes.

BEST dinner rolls EVER. So easy and amazingly delicious. I halved the recipe, and they all fit perfectly in an 8x8 pan. Next time I will add only a couple teaspoons of sugar, as the rolls were slightly sweet as is, and I don't prefer sweet bread.

These were very good. If I could, though, I'd probably give them 4 1/2 stars, probably because they weren't quite as good as I was expecting, with such good reviews. I made two batches. The first one, the rolls weren't all the same size so after the appropriate amount of time, some were pretty brown and some weren't at all, which was my fault. The second batch, I was much more careful to make them the same size, and to make them more round for a prettier finish. I also brushed both batches with melted butter before baking. The second one I lowered the temp by about 10-15 degrees and also brushed the tops with butter after they came out of the oven and they were beautiful. Everyone at Thanksgiving dinner loved them. Thanks for the recipe!

These are great! Tried out about 3 or 4 different roll recipes to use for Thanksgiving this is the only one I liked that didn't taste like a bisquit. I added shredded cheese and Jalapenos to the mixture, I forgot to butter the top but they still turned out perfect.

These are fantastic. I am making them in advance (we have 24 people coming for Thanksgiving) and my fiancee keeps telling me that he's not sure they'll make it till Thursday. The only change I made was to substitute Brummel & Brown yogurt spread for the butter. They still taste great and are a lower cholesterol alternative for the holidays.

This recipe is great!!! I took the advise of another and separated the dough into balls and put 3 into muffin tins. Turned out beautiful. Don't forget to brush the top with butter before they go in the oven.

I made these twice now. Followed the recipe as written the first time, but when I took the dough out of the machine it was very sticky. The rolls didn't seem to raise very good, but boy were they GOOD. The next time I put in about 1/2 cup more flour and my dough was much easier to handle. They still didn't want to rise, but again....very light and so tasty. I'm going to make them for Thanksgiving so will make them one more time and try to increase the time to see if I can get them to rise better. My husband and I better hit the gym because having to taste test these can be very dangerous, but oh so fun.

My rolls didn't rise. I let my yeast proof and it seemed to be good. I let them sit for almost 2 hours before baking and they still didn't rise. They, therefore, came out very dense. But the flavour was good so I will try these again and use a new batch of yeast. Maybe that will help.

I have made this recipe probably 100 times if not more. I have to keep them made and kept in a Tupperware bowl. Cause my kids and my husband like just snacking on them. I made them last year for the Squadron Thanksgiving dinner. I was asked to make 200. They went so fast that I was asked to make 400 this year.

made these for a family get together and everyone raised over them. apparently i'm the only one in my family who can get a rise out of yeast...worked the dough in my bread machine and it was so simple and easy and no mess at all!

These were really good - I forgot to add the eggs and they still worked! I used the method with the kichen-aid and hook attachment because I don't have a bread-maker either. I'll probably update my review after I make this recipe WITH the eggs. Oh I had to adjust the amount because packets of yeast don't correspond with the measurement originally given. Type in 19 servings and it adjusts the rest of the measurements for one packet of yeast. (It says an egg and 5/8ths of an egg on this setting, but since it worked okay with no eggs, I'll just try one.) Rerate later. . . Rerated version with eggs. Actually this recipe was much better for me without eggs! The rolls were very heavy even though I let them rise an hour. Also very crumby rather than soft texture as others have mentioned. I guess I'll do it no eggs next time!

By far my favorite roll recipe. I've added herbs, sometimes cheese, doubled their size for buns, or made them shaped like breadsticks. Love this recipe.
