This is a good basic recipe. My family all loved it. I felt like the ingredients came out seperate, rather than melded, in other words, it seemed like corn with cheese and crackers on top. Perhaps I am just used to a more creamy corn casserole, which, of course, this is not written to be. So, while I will make it again for the family who scooped it up, personally I am still searching for my favorite scalloped corn recipe.

I followed this recipe exactly and it is okay. I will definitely do it again because it uses many ingredients I already have on hand but it is not something I would serve to guests.

Pretty good. I used heavy cream as I didn't have evaporated milk. I used half the amount of butter called for. I'll make this again and will leave off the crackers on top but will put some of the cheddar cheese on top the last couple minutes instead.

Pretty tasty. The crackers on the top really however did not add to the overall flavor of the dish. We will omit next time in lieu of something else. Bacon might be good in this dish as well, sprinkled on top. This seems top be one you can make ahead if time is an issue.

Will make this again as a Thanksgiving side dish. It goes so quickly, it's worth making double the recipe. I have over time made several variations which all are great, using bread crumbs instead, swiss cheese instead, adding crumbled bacon, adding diced ham, adding chopped onion. Either way I do it, everyone loves it!
