This was the best cornbread that I have ever made or tasted! It was moist and sweet and easy to prepare. I will be making this again and again. I shared this with some friends, who all agreed that it is excellent.

Very good! Didn't change anything and it was really exceptional. Maybe next time I will add some cream corn or some minced peppers for a different flavor and see how that goes.

Man this was some good cornbread although instead of using the whole 1 and 2/3 of a cup of milk, I used 1 cup of milk and 2/3's of a cup of buttermilk and added about 1/4 of a cup of honey...It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't dry at all...Good Recipe!!

Some friends were coming over with red beans and rice and just on a whim I found this recipe and threw it together. It was so delicious and easy I made it again the next day to go with lunch! I will never go back to boxed cornbread.

Sweet and flavorful. Makes a BIG batch. I did not have enough of any one kind of butter, so I used 4T salted butter, 2T unsalted butter, and 4T margarine.

This is the best corn bread I have ever made!!! The whole family enjoyed it and it was a snap to make. I did as others had suggested and used 1 and a half cups of sugar because we like our corn bread on the sweet side. Thanks so much for the recipe.

I have never been able to make good corn bread until now. Thank you! The only thing I did differently was I added about 3/4 can of creamed corn before pouring the batter into the pan. It just took a few minutes longer to bake.

I love the texture of this corn bread, and it is so moist! I added chopped green chilis and 3/4 cup frozen (thawed) corn for fun. It turned out great!
