This was really good. The only change I made was, after the popcorn mixture had hardened and cooled, I drizzled melted chocolate over it and allowed it to harden completely before breaking it into pieces. It was a huge hit with my husband and son...

Used the Orville Redenbacher hot air popper for the corn. I used chocolate & peanut butter chips (rather than butterscotch) leftover from Holiday baking and used golden raisins. I made half a batch and pressed into an 8" square pan. This is very similar to rice krispy squares, but a little drier just because of the size of the popped corn kernels. Move quickly once you pour on the heated mixture because it solidifies almost instantly. Pretty good snack, and I would make again.

This was so good and easy. I used around 1/4 c popcorn kernels to pop my own corn and it worked great. I used regular sized marshmallows and they worked fine. I used wax paper to pat the mixture in the pan like I do with rice krispie treats. I would definitely trying these.

I left out the peanuts because of allergies and the raisins because I didn't have them (but I would add them if I had them), and this was AWESOME! My husband and I had a hard time sharing with the kids. :) I'm about to help my son make these for his pack meeting tonight. Another great thing...kid friendly to make!
