Ours did have a distinctive butterscotch flavor that was slightly overwhelming to peanutbutter - noticably not just peanut butter fudge but as the recipe name implies, this is a butterscotch peanut fudge. Also, the texture never quite solidified - we had a pliable fudge result. I won't be trying this one again.

Super easy to make and the butterscotch flavor is not overwhelming. Everyone really liked it this season and it is a softer fudge than normal. I put whole peanuts in as well as chopped ones as well...happy holidays!

I love this recipe. It is easy to make and a little goes a long way. I made three pans of this last year and again this year for holiday parties.

Took a chance with an untested recipe. Tasty, very easy and not overpoweringly sweet, but after 2 hours in the fridge and an additional 15 min. in the freezer it has not hardened enough to merit more stars. I made it with generic butterscotch morsels, crunchy JIF pb, and Trader Joe's salted "Blister" peanuts.
