Ok, I don't eat oatmeal. I can't stand the texture. I'm sure I'm missing something wonderful, but...eh...I'll get over it. However, I made this for my hubby and my mom who are both oatmeal eaters. I used 1/4 c. Eggbeaters in place of the egg, skim milk, cut the brown sugar back to 1/3 c., and the butter (which was made with yogurt) to about 2 tsp. They LOVED it!!! Their reaction almost made me want to try it...almost. Maybe next time. They have requested that I add cinnamon and raisins the next time I make it (although they were happy with it just the way it was), so there are ways you can liven it up.
