This is a wonderful recipe for icecream topping. When you are tired of chocolate or want to use both you will love this.

Quick to make with nice rich flavor. I did not boil for the full 3 minutes as I wanted a softer product.

This was simple to make and the perfect consistency. The flavor is great. I used it in the Oatmeal Carmelitas on this web site (instead of store bought caramel topping) and it was delicious.

Delicious!! I was out of whipping cream, but 2% milk turned out to be a great substitute. It makes a generous amount and keeps well in the fridge. This week I've been adding a small spoonful to my coffee-- yum!

I didn't think this worked well as an ice cream topping. When it cooled, it turned into an old fashioned brown sugar fudge - which was good - but not what I wanted. I may have boiled it too long, but I just did the 3 minutes like the recipe called for. I didn't expect it to set up, and to do so, so quickly. I should have checked the temp on it and not let it go past a soft-ball stage, and not let it cool all the way. Anyway, I won't be making this again. It didn't have the butterscotch flavor I was hoping for either.

So gooey! Exactly what you want to put on your ice cream. I quadrupled the recipe so that I could pass it out as a gift to some co-workers. I filled 6 jars (8 ounces each) with the topping. I was going to make some hot fudge sauce too but I may just make another batch of this! Really easy and delicious.

Too good to make a single recipe, must double it and keep in airtight container in the refrigerator,,, great on ice cream, or just a touch of sweetness after a meal, a teaspoon full, will do just fine:~))
