SUBMITTED BY:
Shayna Rice
"They are just what the title suggests: crunchy and butterscotch-y! They are a no-bake cookie and very easy to make. If you are a butterscotch fan this is the cookie for you."

I didn't find these cookies that good. I must have burned the chips or something.

How easy can you get! This is great for kids. Parents do not have to supervise much in this activity. Some people refer to these as haystacks. They are a quick, fun, no nonsense snack. If you are in a bind for a dish to bring to a scout meeting..make this!

WAY TOO SWEET! I would either add more chowmain noodles, or add in peanuts like others suggested. Make sure your haystack is SMALL. They are way too rich and sweet to eat a big one. I will make these again but with the suggested changes.

I melted the butterscotch chips in the microwave on 70% power, stirring frequently instead of on the stovetop. Made these as a birthday treat for my butterscotch-loving grandson...he was a happy camper. Thansk for the recipe Shayna Rice!

Great recipe! I, too, followed others' suggestions and put in 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and 1 3/4 cup of butterscotch chips. Thanks for this recipe! Easy to make and easy clean up!

These are a quick & unique treat that are so easy to make. You can also prepare with milk chocolate chips, but they don't set as quickly.
