I have been looking for this recipe because we buy one every year at Christmas from the bake sale at church. This is a great recipe for it. My local grocery store only had a 9 in deep dish pie crust so I had some left over and I had to cook it longer because the pie was thicker. My husband and I just had our first piece and we love it. Thanks for sharing this. I would reccommend adding that it must be completely cooled to cut and also cook till the pie doesn't shake in the middle. Then you know it's ready to take out or it's "set".
