This pie is so delicious! I made it like the recipe stated except I made my own buttermilk with 1 Tablespoon lemon juice and filled measuring cup up with milk to equal one full cup. The pie was a bit hit !

The filling didn't set up as thick as I thought it would, but this was still a good pie. This was a great way to use up some buttermilk we had. I added a tablespoon of lemon zest to the filling to make it more lemony. I will make it again, but maybe add some cornstarch to get it to thicken up more. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

I was so anxious to try this recipe, but I was not happy with the outcome. The flavor was pretty good, but it was just so runny and watery. I will try again though to see what I can improve.

I had leftover buttermilk and decided to make this pie. I'm glad I did because it was excellent! I wouldn't change a thing.

Excellent! I made this pie twice during the holidays and the recipe is easy and (I believe) foolproof. It has a wonderfull texture and the buttermilk adds a special tang. Yummy! Thanks for sharing it!
