I made this recipe Christmas day. Everyone loved the taste and texture. I baked it in a bundt pan following the directions to pour half of the batter then cinnamon/sugar and the rest of the batter. I topped with cinnamon/sugar and walnuts. Next time I make this break I will sprinkle the middle with cinnamon/sugar and walnuts. This was a great bread!

I folled the recipe exactly and my two loaves came out perfect. Didn't even stick to the pan. Overall, a big hit. Everyone loved it.

This was easy to prepare and turned out pretty well although not as moist as I would like. The recipe made two nice-sized loaves. I made one with nuts on top and one without.

I made half a recipe at first. When I got to the grocer, the cupboards were bare..I had no choice but to implement with low fat buttermilk. (It was less expensive to buy the pint) I added a little cinnamon to the batter as well as crushed walnuts. I love this recipe!! Thanks! :) I also lightly greased, and floured the loaf pan so that the bread would come out easily.

my family loved it. the loaf pans i used wer bigger than i thought so most of the cinnamon ended up close to the top and i tried to stir deeper to make sure the swirls reached the bottom. i used pecans because im allergic to walnuts.

For some reason, the dough was very thick and sticky and I had a hard time layering the batter and sugar/cinnamon mixture correctly. However, I just swirled everything together and no one's complained! I haven't tasted the bread yet, but they look scrumptuous! I recommend sprinkling the loaves with some additional cinnamon/sugar mixture after baking as well.

I followed the recipe exactly yet my loaves were hollow in the middle and ended up collapsing. I've made many quick breads in the last few years with lots of success so what did I do wrong? The flavor is delicious, but the bread isn't exactly bread.

This was wonderful! I would put more cinnamon in the middle and less on top but I took it to work and everyone loved it! Will definitely make again.

This is an ok recipe. It is pretty but the bread is low on flavor & very dense. I was going to give the loaves out for Christmas gifts but they are not up to my standards. It works better for french toast than for eating.

I made these last night to give out as gifts around the office. They were very easy to make and they turned out delicious! I got a yield of 4 mini loaves per batch. On one batch, I made 2 mini's and 1 large loaf, and the portion turned out perfectly. I wrapped each mini loaf in Christmas cellophane bags and tied them with ribbon. I'll post a pic for everyone to see. (=

I just made this for my husband to give to his co-workers. I used mini-loaf pans. I also added 2 cups of sugar to the recipe and instead of stiring in the rest of the sugar and cinnamonin and swirling with a knife, I used the new cinnamon chips mixed in the batter, then sprinkled the sugar/cinnamon mixture on top. It turned out beautiful and taste even better. Thank you for a wonderful recipe for gift giving!

Made this to take to a friend's house and everyone enjoyed it; both my my family of 10 and theirs, of 9!! Really quick and easy. Great as a breakfast bread or a side for dinner. Will definitely make it again. Pans are not too full when assembled, but made two loaves easily. It does 'rise' a little during baking.

Oh my goodness!! This is absolutely delightful. I made it exactly as the recipe said to and it's perfect. Well, not exactly. I sprinkled the greased pan with some of the cinnamon/sugar mixture. Yummy, yummy, yummy. I'm printing this one out for my recipe file.

When I started pouring the batter into my loaf pan, I immediately realized that it was not going to take make 2 loaves. Perhaps, if you add a few extra teaspoons of baking powder it might rise enough, but I poured all of the batter into one loaf pan, had it rise a little bit, and had a generous sized loaf, opposed to two smaller ones. I was being really dumb while making this, and I know this sounds really blonde but I accidentally only used less than half of the sugar. Maybe because I used so nuch of the cinnamon and sugar mixture (i layered the batter and mixture more than once in the pan to make it prettier) it still turned out good, but if you don't like really sweet bread, than I would recommend reducing the sugar by alot. I also replaced the oil with applesauce so it was low fat, and it tasted full of flavor. I used a few slices of this bread to make french toast and it tasted really good. I will make this again.
