I didn't include the orange zest and loved how these cookies tasted. They worked great with my cookie press and turned out soft (which is very important to my husband). Thanks!

OMG I just made these and they are FANTASTIC!!!!! I'm giving them at least 7 stars, I used the full tsp. of vanilla and 1 tsp. of almond extract. I also had to add an additional 1/2 c. flour. Hope there are some left when my family gets home.

I don't think they tasted very good, not sweet enough, boring taste.

Not too bad! I had a hardtime using my cookie press for these, however - the dough was a little too crumbly. I added a little bit of orange extract to lighten it up and just went with rolled cookies instead of shapes. They got rave reviews at a work function!

I had a hard time with the dough being too soft for the cookie press. And don't go anywhere near 12 minutes if you are using a dark cookie sheet! I was finally able to achieve a non-brown cookie at 325F for 8 minutes.

I enjoyed the flavor the orange zest and cream cheese gave the cookie, but I found the cookies to be a bit hard and crunchier than I would like. I even tried adjusting the baking time to make sure I wasn't over baking. They were superb directly out of the oven, but once they were cooled, they were a bit hard.

Excellent, easy cookie. I omitted the orange (didn't have any) and added green food coloring to make my trees green. I sprinkled the unbaked cookies with colored sugar. It added a nice touch! Will be making more of these tomorrow, possibly will drizzle icing on them prior to adding the colored sugar to dress them up more, but these are great and worked so well in my cookie press! THANKS!

This is a very good recipe. The "press-ability" and "stick-ability" is great at room temp. I followed the recipe exactly except for substituting 1/2 t almond extract for the orange zest. I'm just not that crazy about orange stuff. Lemon, I'm sure, would be fantastic, though.

A winner on all counts, easy to make, worked great in the Pampered Chef cookie press, great taste and texture. Definitely better than a plain spritz!

These cookies were perfect to use in a cookie press. I decided to omit the orange zest, but the cinnamon was a nice, suttle flavor. Also, the cream cheese gave it that extra "zing." I cooked them for 13 min. This is a perfect, holiday recipe.

These were pretty easy to make. They didn't stick to the inside of the cookie press barrel, like most doughs I have tried. I didn't have any orange zest on hand, so I used lemon zest instead. Turned out good regardless. They do not have a bland flavor like many spritz-type cookies. My husband liked them too. :) Thanks.

I had rated this 3 stars before when I first made it because the dough was too sticky for my press, but I just made them again and the dough was the perfect consistency. I think the difference was that I used the full fat cream cheese instead of the 1/3 less fat stuff. The flavor was good. My kids liked it.

I made several batches of these cookies for events and they turned out very well. They were so easy to make. They went fast at the bake sales that I took them to.

I wish that knew how you folks got this sticky dough to work in the cookie press. I had to keep putting the dough in the fridge and the cookie press in the freezer so that it would actually make cookies. Sometimes the dough was so soft it would just come out in blobs. Other times, the cookies were lovely. And, no, it wasn't my cookie press. It worked beautifully with all the other recipes I tried. Be that as it may, the cookies taste wonderful. The orange flavor is so refreshing. I even put orange food coloring in mine and topped them with chopped pecans. Yummy.
