Yum! This is a great way to make rice. I used brown rice and had to cook it longer, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. The burnt butter really adds a lot of flavor. It is a little greasy but in a good way!

I actually had to do this twice because I burnt the first batch. I'm not the best rice cooking-type person, my husband can attest to that. Second time, I had it. This went really well with Fierro Chicken, as it didn't compete flavor-wise with an already strong main dish. NOTE: Next time, I might add a little garlic and onion.

it was good, but just tasted like buttered rice. next time i will just make rice with butter on it, much quicker and tastes the same. i liked it with the yogurt!

I made this last night with the honey walnut baked chicken from this site. It was a very easy side dish and the burnt butter gave the rice a really different taste. I followed the recipe exactly as written. I will definitely make this one again!

Delicious! I used half the butter and shaved fresh parmesan on top of rice after pouring butter on. Husband is not a huge rice fan and he really liked it.

This is a good dish to serve when you have guests. I have a friend who has dreams about this rice now. It is not healthy by any means but sooooooo good.

It was okay - nothing special. I followed the recipe exactly and thought it was a little too much rice and not enough butter...I didn't think it was greasy at all. I would probably make it again if I didn't have any other ideas for a side.

This was so simple yet really good. I did add a little garlic but otherwise made it as stated. Everyone loved it and there were no leftovers. Excellent.

This rice is really good. It has a unique taste to it-the burnt butter of course. Would definately recommend trying. Fun recipe to learn about melting butter and how it seperates and then if you burn it-its OK-you actually want to!!! I enjoyed, husband said OK. I love butter-he doesn't really use. You decide-give it a try!

This was a very easy and tasty rice dish, except it is WAY TOO greasy. I am going to cut the butter down to half the stated amount and I'm sure it will be better. I added some oregano and garlic powder and it added some added punch!!! My kids GOBBLED this stuff up!!!

Really good, but looks rather "iffy" while you're making it. Not diet food for sure, but a real nice, easy side dish.

This was just okay, and I had such high hopes :-( I added some green onions for color, but the browned butter just didn't add much to it except calories and fat. My mom always fried our rice in butter after she prepared it the usual way, and I prefer that way to this.

Excellent rice. I actually used brown rice which meant it needed to cook a little longer but it worked out great and the flavor was very good! The whole family loved it! Thanks for this recipe.

I liked the smell of the burnt butter, and the softness of the rice, but it was too greasy for our taste.
