Everybody in my family licked their plates clean & I have some picky eaters! I didn't have chili beans so I used a can of black beans instead & used green salsa because we like the flavor better than red. It was awesome. For those who aren't that into "spicy" food, top it off with a little dab of sour cream. Yummy! :D

Didn't really measure any of the ingredients, just went by taste and what I had on hand. Didn't add the butter/lima beans. A great weekday supper!

yum. didn't expect it to be as great as it was. whole family liked it. used rotel tomatoes as salsa and organic hotdogs (no nitrates) from our csa farm (cause the kids don't like them regular on buns) and it was a hit! thx!

I love these beans! I sauted some green peppers and fresh onion with the kielbasa, but that's the only change I made and would recommend it. I ate these for four days, that's how good they are. This recipe would also be good without the kielbasa. I will be making these again.

I love this recipe. I make it at least once a week. After the first three times I made some changes which suit my tastes a little more. To make this recipe as is, a couple of notes. The barbeque sauce you use will make or break this recipe, so use a good one. use a high quality hot dog. The changes I made were to use a ham steak cut into cubes, one can of pinto beans and one can of black beans drained instead of pork and beans.

I made this for an After-Superbowl dinner last night and we liked it a lot. I didn't have hotdogs, but I did have a package of fully-cooked smoked chicken and sun-dried tomato sausage that I substituted--good choice! Also, I didn't see until too late that I should have drained the pork and beans. It didn't matter that much but for the fact that there was a lot of liquid. I just served them with a slotted spoon. Thanks for sharing this one!
