Good although not as sweet as I expected. They tasted better once cooled off. Also, I found that they dried out in the oven so watch them closely!

Took these to the office and they stampeded to my desk to get them! Great recipe...just the right texture, chewy chocolate goodness!

This is great!! I've made this cookie for over 30 years & it's wonderful. It's my oldest son's favorite cookie, so I just made a double batch, since we are going to his home for Christmas dinner. These are simple & delicious. Make sure that they are taken out of the oven while still soft, as they harden up as they cool. I drizzle a little chocolate glaze on the top for a prettier cookie.

I was just browsing and came across this favorite, familiar recipe. My mother made these as one of her "signature" cookies since the 1970's, and I still make them every year with my kids. They are rich, moist, and very easy. We don't like nuts, so we just make them without. I'll add an extra teaspoon of vanilla extract for just a bit more flavor.

These do indeed resemble brownies in taste. I used 100% organic wheat flour, and other than that I did not make a change. I made some with and some without walnuts (becuase my 2 yr old dumped most of them on the floor) and I like both.

These were very good. I followed the recipe (almost). I didn't have nuts so I used some hempseeds instead. I used parchment paper instead of greasing the baking sheets and baked just above centre as I do any cookie that I make. I will definately make these again.
