Perfect combination of brownie and cookie! I added chocolate chips for even more chocolately goodness (2 big handfuls). Great recipe! I also used a teaspoon cookie scoop and ended up getting 34 smaller cookies.

Love this recipe. The only change I make is to cook them only 8 minutes. Be sure to watch so they don't overcook!

At first I thought they were just okay. The next day I completely changed my mind. They were great. I did change one thing. I used semi sweetened chocolate becaused I did not have unsweetened chocolate. I am glad I did since I did not think they were to sweet. I will try these again and maybe try different ingredients. thanks Mary!!!!

We really liked these, they taste very similar to Hostess Brownie Bites. The recipe is very easy to follow and the finished product was super tasty. I doubled the recipe and ended up with around 40 cookies (they were disappearing so fast I'm not sure of the final count, LOL). My only changes were, I used 8 T cocoa powder + 4 T butter as a substitute for the chocolate squares, and I omitted walnuts since I was out (but I plan to add them next time). Also, next time I make these I think I'll roll each cookie dough ball in powdered sugar before baking, for a sweet, crackly top. This was a winner that will be a "regular" in our cookie line up, I'm sure. The taste of brownies, but easier.

Had a major craving for brownies, but wanted mini brownies. So happy to have come upon this recipe; They're easy to make, very good chocolate flavor, dense & kind of chewy, perfect size... VERY good! I pretty much followed the recipe, except I used 9 TBSP cocoa powder (Hershey's Special Dark) + 3 TBSP shortening instead of the unsweetened chocolate, and corn syrup with brown sugar (Karo), because those are what I had. I think the Special Dark cocoa powder and the brown sugar corn syrup may have added to the great flavor of the brownie bites Thank you for this recipe! They're addictive! Maybe that's not such a good thing. :P

Very simple to make. I had all of the ingredients already so no shopping! :) I made exactly as the recipe said, and they turned out great! The taste was a nice mild chocolate flavour, and the texture was quite similar to a brownie. I will make these again. Thanks for sharing!

i was looking to stress-bake during finals without having to make a trip to the grocery store for additional ingredients. i used egg substitute and margarine because those were what i had on hand, but otherwise followed the recipe to the letter. baked for 10 minutes on the top and bottom racks, switching racks halfway through. they tasted fine, but were nothing special. not overly sweet or super-chocolatey, if that's what you're looking for. dense, but in a more cake-like than fudgy way

Good although not as sweet as I expected. They tasted better once cooled off. Also, I found that they dried out in the oven so watch them closely!

Took these to the office and they stampeded to my desk to get them! Great recipe...just the right texture, chewy chocolate goodness!

This is great!! I've made this cookie for over 30 years & it's wonderful. It's my oldest son's favorite cookie, so I just made a double batch, since we are going to his home for Christmas dinner. These are simple & delicious. Make sure that they are taken out of the oven while still soft, as they harden up as they cool. I drizzle a little chocolate glaze on the top for a prettier cookie.
