Brownie Mounds
SUBMITTED BY:
Mary Turner
"If you crave brownies but not the longer baking time, try these quick chocolaty cookies shared by Mary Turner from Blountville, Tennessee. 'I usually make them for the holidays, but they're good any time of year,' she says."

These were very good. I followed the recipe (almost). I didn't have nuts so I used some hempseeds instead. I used parchment paper instead of greasing the baking sheets and baked just above centre as I do any cookie that I make. I will definately make these again.

These do indeed resemble brownies in taste. I used 100% organic wheat flour, and other than that I did not make a change. I made some with and some without walnuts (becuase my 2 yr old dumped most of them on the floor) and I like both.
