I finally made these, and yes, they are the best! Like everyone has said, they were gone as they touched the table!

The taste was great. I cooked mine in the slow cooker which did not crisp the bacon enough. Next time I will cook as instructed in the oven.

I made this for Valentine's potluck party at work, and my co-workers were already picking at it as I was walking to bring it to the boardroom. And when I laid it on the table, it didn't take long til all were gone! One of them said, "it's like heaven on a stick!" I was still receiving compliments til the next day! This recipe is awesome! And the best part is it's so easy to make!

BIG hit at our Superbowl party - I found, as other reviewers indicated, that I had to broil them in the end because the bacon wouldn't cook all the way through. I also used thick cut bacon..d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s!

These are AMAZING! Even better grilled this year then they were baked last year! They were the first thing to go off my superbowl spread. :) Definitely do as others suggested and rub the smokies with half the brown sugar prior to wrapping with bacon. Then skewer and sprinkle the bacon with the remaining sugar before you grill. Thanks for posting!!

These went extremely fast. It is best to toss the brown sugar, bacon, and sausages by hand in a bowl. Once the bacon was wrapped around the sausages, I found it was easiest to place about five or six on a bamboo skewer. It makes it easier to turn and allows the bacon to cook more evenly. I cooked these at 350* for about 20 minutes and then raised the heat to 400* until the bacon was fully crisp (another 15 mins or so).

Yep, my guy friends LOVED these. Huge hit and agree with the rest of the reviews...use a lot of brown sugar. I marinated it overnight but next time I'll add extra brown sugar. Soo good.

Really tasty and the smell is amazing! We used maple bacon and placed 6-7 per skewer. Laid them all in a 13x9 and coated them thoroughly in brown sugar. They sat in the covered pan in the fridge for about an hour. Then we moved the skewers to a baking sheet and scooped the brown sugar back over. Baked at 350 for just under 30 min. We cut the skewers in half or thirds and keep them warm in a crock pot. Next time I will put foil over the baking sheet to make clean up easier.

Followed suggestions to bake on broil pan and to roll the little smokes/bacon in brown sugar. Baked at 375, turning at about 20 minutes, until crisp (maybe 40 minutes?). These were gone in seconds!
