Best meatloaf I ever had. I did not use the ground ginger because I didn't have any and substituted dry onion soup mix for the chopped onion. There wasn't any leftovers, but my husband asked if there was. I liked the sauce on the bottom because it mixed with the meat juices and made an excellent sauce to add over top of the meatloaf.

This recipe is delicious!!!! My husband loves it and when he eats leftovers that means it MUST be good. I put the ketchup and brown sugar on the bottom but when there is 20 minutes left I put a mixture of ketchup and brown sugar on the top as well. That makes it covered! It tastes really great!!

I don't understand how this recipe got such a high rating. Candied beef is not my idea of a good dinner. All we could taste was the sweet and nothing else. Will not make this again. From now on I will be sure to read the one star reviews first.

This was sooo good I did what some others did and put the ketchup and brown sugar mix on top and on the bottom as well. I also put a tablespoon of maple syrup to the ketchup and brown sugar it was really good.

A very moist and delcious meatloaf - our favorite, I haven't tried another since finding this recipe! Only change I've ever made was to use crushed croutons instead of the crushed crackers - just simply yummy!

Great Meatloaf, only gave 4 stars because of all the changes I made. I made the meatloaf with minced onions instead of real, only used 1/2 cup of milk and it was too runny so I added more crushed crackers. I also only put in a tsp of salt. I put the glaze on top(with 15 minutes left) but I only put in 1/4 cup brown sugar , it was still really sweet next time I'll put in even less. With all the changes it turned out great!

This came out better than I expected. I wasn't sure about the brown sugar but it gives the meatloaf a wonderful flavor. Will definitely make this again.

Best meatloaf recipe ever. Easy to prepare and a winner everytime I make it. The only thing I do-is instead of adding a small onion, I use French's -French Fried Onions instead. They add wonderful flavor and disappear when cooked. The kids never know they are in there but adds great flavor. I also omit the giner. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

We halved the glaze and put half on top and half on the bottom, but we found it a little sweet. I think next time we'll use half the brown sugar. We also used bread crumbs instead of crackers and overall it came out delicious. Super moist!
