packed brown sugar
3 1/2 cups
Growing up my Grandma always made these cookies-with maple frosting!! They are wonderful!! Try some frosting on them if you find them boring!
Very blah...wouldn't make it again.
yes i always make them
they go perfect with homemade glaze
2 C. powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-2 teaspoos of milk
Heat margarin until delicate brown. stir in powdered sugar and vanilla.Stir in milk until smooth. Lightly galze each cookie. ENJOY!
fine but bland, nothing special
Instead of brown sugar drops, try molasses drops! Make this recipe but substitute 2 cups mild molasses and 2 cups granulated sugar for the 2 cups of brown sugar.
They're not bad, but they taste kind of odd in a way I can't explain.
