This may not be the fanciest, prettiest cookie around but it sure is one darn good tasting cookie! Thin, light and crispy exterior but chewy at the same time. I liked the combination of butter and shortening so chose to follow the recipe as written. These are called "Brown Sugar Crinkles," but I'd just call them simply good ol' fashioned sugar cookies with a brown sugar hint. Delicious. (I had three just to write this review and make sure it was accurate)
