Basic, easy, awesome, moist, sweet(but not overly.) Good banana taste, (make sure that they are super ripe.) Will do it again, and again.

This was a great and easy recipe! As previously mentioned, my batter looked a bit runny, so I followed my instincts and added a handful of flour (maybe about 1/4c or less)to get a more muffin like batter. As a result my bread was more bread-like than cake-like. One of the difficult things about this recipe is that bananas can range in size/texture. Also if you stir too much after you fold in the nuts they settle to the bottom. Like everyone i put brown sugar on top before baking. this was delicious!

This bread turned out great and was a real hit! I used 1 cup of whole wheat flour and one cup better for bread flour. Turned out great! I will use this recipe again!

I used this recipe to make muffins instead of a loaf and it turned out pretty well! Next time, I'll try adding a crumb topping for a little bite more browning on top. Thank you for the recipe!

Good flavor and good way to use up old bananas, but a little too dense for my tastes. I didn't use nuts and only 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla because I don't want any flavors taking the lead over the delicate banana flavor.

The banana nut bread was wonderful. Just like the ones we had when I was a kid, some 60+ years ago. Yum! My only suggestion is rub butter over the top the minute it comes out of the oven. Double Yum!

I didn't want to use the butter and I only had two large bananas, so I substituted with a cup of apple sauce. I also added some cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor turned out really well, but I'm sure it's because my bananas were extremely overripe. If they had been less black, I would have needed more banana to get a good banana flavor. It came out very moist, and a day later it hasn't dried out at all. My roommate and I have eaten almost half the loaf already!
