The nicest thing about recipes like this is that you can alter them to suit your own preferences. I used broccoli and red, yellow and green peppers along with the coleslaw mix. It was such a tasty and attractive dish! Will definitely be making this one on a regular basis!

This was really good and healthy, too!. I added some red bell pepper and snow peas. I omitted the almonds.

Easy to make and improvise with other veggies. I added two cups of cooked brown rice and a little extra zuchinni.

Good recipe! I tweaked it a bit by adding some minced garlic and eggplant, skipping the tomatoes, and substituting cashews for the almonds. I also sprinkled on some sesame seeds. It was delish!

Great eat! I added additional veggies (1 diced orange bell pepper, 1 cup steamed fresh broccoli, 1 medium-sized yellow squash), and I omitted the almonds. It was quick to make, filling, and tasty! With the additional veggies, this is more like 4-6 servings. I'll be making this again.

This was pretty good, just seemed to be missing something....needed a little oomph. I made two small changes in that I used cole slaw mix for convenience and toasted the almonds before sprinkling on at the end. This is great for a quick week-night meal. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great recipe! I took other reviewers suggestions and thinly sliced my carrots instead of grating them. I also substituted red bell peppers instead of tomatoes....

I really liked this. I didn't have any almonds but I surely didn't miss them. With all the wonderful veggies and great taste, I forgot it was even missing them. Wonderful color too! Thank you.

Surprised at how good this was. Did not have any almonds, and used left over bagged slaw mixture in place of carrots & cabbage. Also added broccoli instead of zucchini! Good stuff!

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this stir-fry. I'll be making this stir-fry quite often, even my daughter who turns her nose up at anything "healthy" I make gave it a thumbs up. Changes I made: 1 tbsp soy sauce + 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce I also added a yellow squash I thought it was more than 2 svgs, for my family it's more like 4-5 svgs.

I can't believe this recipe was such a hit! I didn't add the cabbage or almonds, just upped the amount of zuchini/carrots/mushrooms! I took another reviewers advice and cut the carrots (julienned them) I added more soy sauce then the recipe called for and put around 2-3 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce which gave it some kick and extra flavor. I served it with fake ground beef, the the recipe is as follows..sauteed 2 small onions choppped with 2 cloves of garlic and a teaspoon of ginger in two tablespoons of evoo. I added in the pkg of the soy beef and put in a tablespoon of chili garlic sauce, salt and pep to taste and some rennes thai sauce. I might have added in a dash of soy sauce too. Anyways my brother and sister loved this, they finished it all up and there were no leftovers left which is RARE!

I didn't think this dish would be as tasty as it turned out to be. Surprise! Quick to make, good to eat and simple. Will make again. We added a bit of black pepper and some salt-perfect. We love this dish! For some protein, try adding some tofu. We didn't, just the way the recipe was written, 'cept for no carrots--don't like 'em.

This dish tasted better than I expected. The only change I made was to leave out the almonds b/c I'm not a big fan of nuts. Otherwise this was Umm Umm Good!
