Man was this soup delicious! Rarely do I review anything because rarely do I follow the recipe exactly, but this time I did and I'm so glad I did. The only thing I changed was to take another reviewer's advice and add a little bit of lemon juice. I was looking for a twist on the traditional turkey soup and this was it! I made a big pot of it with the expectation that my boyfriend and I would take it for lunch the following day. That didn't happen. We both had thirds! It was THAT GOOD! Will definitely be making this again! Thanks a bunch!

Great flavor! Only thing I changed was I used regular chicken broth instead of low sodium. Also used uncooked rice instead of instant. Great recipe!

I used this recipe for my leftover turkey from Thanksgiving. I knew I wanted soup instead of sandwiches. I followed the recipe but added some diced sun-dried tomatoes also. It was delicious. I didn't have instant brown rice, so I made a pot on the side and just let it cool and dumped it in at the end with some swiss chard for some greens. Gonna try making it without the turkey and see how it comes out. Always looking for a good soup to make. This is a keeper.

very good! I added a little Texas Pete to mine because I like things a little spicy, but it was really good w/o, too! The wine was a perfect ingredient

Loved this recipe! I did make a few changes, mostly because my husband doesn't like the taste of cooked red pepper. Instead of the red pepper, I added a can of petite diced tomatoes with the turkey and rice. For the liquid, I used two cans of chicken broth, one can of vegetable broth, and the white wine. I originally tried this recipe to use some leftover Thanksgiving turkey. But now I buy rotisserie chicken just so I can make the soup. It's perfect on a cold winter day with a salad and some good bread. Thank you for the great recipe!

I am so excited about this soup! I made a few changes: added more broth, tossed in a little cumin, and threw in some peas. I added 2 tablespoons of lime juice, which made all the difference. I might cut back the amount of rice by 1/4 c. or so on the next batch. As it stands, this dish is easy, unique and superb!

Didn't have thyme so I used oregano. And regular brown rice and homemade broth. Very good.

Great soup. Used 6 cups of chicken broth which I thought was perfect, and ended up adding more later, which was fine. Also did lemon juice and carrots which I liked. Will do again. GREAT FLAVOR!
