Just fine! Left the sauce ingredients all the same, except added a tbsp of chicken soup base (Watkins) for balance over the tomato taste. For breading, used egg coating and Shake 'N Bake. Worked just fine. I used boneless, skinless thighs instead of breast meat, because we all prefer dark meat, and left them in large bite-size pieces. Everyone praised it as different and very good. Will keep the recipe handy.

This is a great, very simple dish to prepare, what a lot of fuss some reviewers have made about all the cleaning up and preparation!! I used to ammount of oil in the recipe, I did leave the sauce to simmer for longer and ended up with a really lovely rich sauce. You could easily add more garlic to this recipe, it sweetens as it cooks. Also I added a bay leaf and sliced black olives, I'm addicted to them. Served chicken on top, divine!!! I added more spice, I have a great jar of minced garlic and chilli so added a teaspoon, also salt and freshly ground black pepper. Shall definately be making this on a regular basis!!!!!! Thanks!!!! Oops almost forgot, unfortunately, I only had dried basil, not quite the same! Next time I'll be sure to get fresh!!

This is off the hook insanely good! The only thing I did differently is I am vegetarian so I bought Morning Star frozen chicken strips and breaded and fried those instead of the real mc coy! Everyone loved it! This recipe is a DEFINITE keeper!

I made this pretty close to how the recipe was written (lots of times I add or subtract ingredients according to my own preferences). I did not bread the chicken, as I was trying to keep this pretty healthy. We thought it was really tasty. Next time, I think I would add another can of tomatoes. Usually I would much rather have fresh tomatoes and stay away from canned, but not this time. They gave the sauce good flavor and texture. I will probably make this again sometime.

So so so so delicious! I can't get enough! Everyone loves this sauce! Just the right amount of kick. I used dried basil and cut the chicken into strips before I breaded it, but other than that I stayed true to the recipe and was amazed! I've made this with chicken, shrimp, meatballs, crab, and it's always good! I'm definitely putting this dish in regular rotation!

One of the best recipes I've ever made. I followed the recipe almost exactly except I added a little more tomato sauce. It's easy, delicious and impressive.

Delicious! I loved this recipe, but I did find that 1/4 cup of oil is too much. Next time I will use 1/8th cup of oil. Thank you!

This recipe is very good. The only thing I changed is that I don't mix the chicken in with it. I serve it on the side and it stays crispy.

Okay I was really surprised with this recipe because I though that it wouldn't have a lot of flavor and boy was I wrong. Even my little 3yr old loved it and sorry no leftovers. Thanks again for the suggestion.

I was absolutely AMAZED by how GOOD this dish was! This has a great balance of the good ol' Italian flavor with a Spicy kick to it! Great!!! Oh, the 6 Garlic cloves are NOT TOO much at all! Everything is well balanced in the end, so don't be afraid to use all 6, it won't overwhelm the flavor.

Very, very good. This to me is like a dish you'd get at a great Italian restaurant. Loved it and didn't change a thing. Make sure you don't skimp on the fresh garlic! 6 sounds like alot if you're not a garlic lover but it makes the dish.

Great recipe although I did add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp Italian Seasoning Mix to the sauce. I also felt the sauce was a little thick, so I added more tomato sauce and this turned out great!

The first couple of times, I followed this recipe to a T. Great! However, I couldn't help but think that I would like it if the sauce had some salt, 2 t. of red pepper flakes instead of 1 t., and the sauce was thicker ( a bit too watery in my opinion). As for the breading, I only use one egg to dip the chicken in (it's enough), use 1 c. of bread crumbs (still have a lot left over), and add 2t. of cayenne pepper for an even bigger spice kick. Then, this recipe is five stars! It's still great without the modifications though! My dinner guests LOVED it!

This recipe was great, but I would change a couple things. The pepper flakes make it TOO spicy to even enjoy, I guess it's good if you like really hot food. I suggest just putting a forth of the pepper flakes in if you don't like your food too spicy. I also added a half a jar of spaghetti sauce, the first time I made this their wasn't enough sauce to go around. Oh yeah! This pasta is even better the day after, the pasta absorbs the sauce perfectly. All in all this is a really good recipe. DON'T FORGET THE GARLIC BREAD!

A really good and easy dish that everyone liked. Chicken was tasty and juicy. I would also suggest making more sauce. I didn't, but had a spicy, canned variety in the back on the cupboard that I added. I will definetly make this again. Thanks!

What a great recipe for a night when I had NO idea what I was going to make! This calls for basic pantry staples, is quick and easy, and tastes great! I only had a 14.5 oz. can of tomatoes, so I doubled the tomato sauce and added some oregano. Eve with only one can of diced tomatoes, it had great texture and flavor! My husband is very particular about his pasta sauce, and this was a hit with him. This recipe is definitely being added to my recipe box for future use.
