Delicious! Here is what I did. I always have frozen tilapia fillets in the freezer (fish is actually a better quality when it is frozen). I had 5 fillets and I put them on a foil lined pan. Sprinkled the frozen fillets with old bay and put them under the broiler until they were no longer frozen. To the spread I added a handful of breadcrumbs, olive oil mayo, old bay, garlic salt, and dried chopped onion. I did not use the lemon, basil, onion powder, or celery salt. The cheese I used was a blend of asiago, parmesan, and romano. I spread a heaping tsp of that on the fillets then sprinkled a little bit more cheese and breadcrumbs for a crust. Then put it under the broiler until it was nice and golden brown. I knew I would have extra spread so I bought white mushrooms (about 12) and stuffed those with the spread and put those under the broiler. The stuffed mushroom idea came from another reviewer. This was an amazing recipe. The stuffed mushrooms and fish tasted like they were from the restaurant.

The topping makes the dish delicious. I double the amount of topping like others suggested, but I realized I should not double the butter. I also sprinkled so extra parmesan on top. It was very tasty, and my son loved it.

I halved this recipe for a (very) quick weeknight dinner and it was absolutely perfect! So savory, cheesy, and rich. I'm making it again this week. Thanks for a great recipe!

The sauce has wonderful flavor that doesn't overpower the light fish. I sometimes leave out ingredients like the celery salt, and still get success.

This recipe is delicious. I did use a little less lemon juice than the recipe called for because I didn't want the fish to taste too tangy. I also added old bay To the fish as others suggested and that made the dish exceptional. This is definately a recipe worth giving a try.

I actually give it 4.5 stars. I added a bit more onion powder, some garlic powder, and Old Bay Seasoning. I had to bake the fish a little longer because I think I added a little too much topping and it took a little longer to brown. I also topped off with a little more parmesan. Otherwise, my husband and I loved it. He loved it so much that I ended up buying a bulk package of frozen tilapia so we can enjoy it again and again :) I served it with some white rice with basil and garlic and blanched broccoli with freshly ground black pepper. Very tasty!

This is so easy and really flavorful. I left out celery salt and replaced with garlic. Also mixed a little panko before putting on fish and sprinkled a little more after spreading the mixture so it wouldn't melt off.

Really, really tasty. Only problem (and why only 4 and not 5 stars) is it's inconsistent. Don't know why, but it comes out different every time i make it. Think it may have something to do with the temperature of the butter.

YUMMY! I make tilapia alot but usually just use dill or lemon or Old Bay. This was more like what you would get at a fine restaurant! I did decrease the amount of butter to 3 T. and would probably cut back even more.

This recipe was a very pleasant surpise! My husband generally won't eat Tilapia, but after tasting this recipe he had a second piece and suggested that I keep this receipe. The only changes I made were to add 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp paprika. I heated up the leftovers for lunch today and they were just as good the second day. Thanks for such a great recipe.
