I have been making these creamy sandwiches for my family for years. Not exactly gourmet, but tasty none-the-less. Great for a quick lunch, or even for dinner when you're feeling pressed for time and in the mood for comfort food. We love these leftover.

Bacon, Asparagus, and Cheese Sandwiches

When I was a kid my sister and I LOVED when my mom made these broiled asparagus, bacon, and cheese sandwiches. We would always argue about the order the ingredients should go on the toast. (Of course, I'm submitting this in the order I liked.) It was also a good way to get us to eat asparagus.

I came up with this recipe for my niece. I combined grilled cheese sandwiches with garlic bread. Its tasty, its quick and its the perfect appetizer for friends, family and unexpected guests. Use a firm white bread for best results.

A cream cheese sandwich spread gets kicked up a notch by adding jalapeno peppers, pimentos, grated onion, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Layered with bacon and sliced avocado, it's destined to become a family favorite.

Folks are sure to crack a smile when they see these irresistible open-faced sandwiches. Two kinds of cheese and a few olive pieces create the cheery chick that sits atop each ham slice.

Open faced cheese sandwiches with peppers, tomato and onion. This is a favorite at our Campground. We used to call them Gay Headers! My kids ask for it at home as well.
