Chops came out juicy and tender. Sauce is tasty, but not particularly remarkable, sort of a standard Carolina-style BBQ sauce.

Good recipe but the sauce was very bitter as was. So I added about 2-3 tablespoons more of brown sugar to cut some of the bitterness. The sauce didn't baste well but the leftover sauce was awesome on top. Will try again

This recipe is also excellent w/ any type of egg rolls and/or chicken nuggest; as a dipping sauce. There use to be a Chinese restaurant in PA that made a sauce very similar to this one. I love the way you can adjust the sweetness and/or tanginess. I have been using this recipe for years. It is definately a keeper in our house.

Great recipe the whole family loved this sauce from my 1 year old to my husband. I almost listened to the reviews and cut out some of the ketchup, but I decided to follow the recipe exactly the first time and I am glad I did! The only thing I had to do differently is simmer the sauce about twice as long so it would thicken enough to stay on the pork chops. Otherwise-perfect, juicy, delicious porkchops! Found out the extra sauce is great on mashed potatoes too. Will be making this one again soon.

Tried this one some breakfast steaks I had on hand. Was a fairly good baste. I did reduce the ketchup and water to 1/2 cup each because some said that it was too ketchupy. I will add a little more spice next time cause this didn't have much kick. But not bad at all. Will definitely use the baste recipe again. Probably on chops next time. :)

Delicious! Without adding extra sauce, it was perfect for the kids. The extra sauce added zing & flavor to ours. Very easy to make, too!

While the turn out wasn't terrible, I wouldn't make this again. It was a lot of work for something so simple. Frying them and dipping in sauce would be the same or better.

These are so easy and good! My husband was impressed because I had never cooked pork chops before. 5 year old daughter even loved them.
