SUBMITTED BY: Taste of Home Test Kitchen

"Instead of simply topping steamed broccoli with plain butter, the home economists in our Test Kitchen suggest you try serving it with an easy-to-prepare flavored butter. This is also a tasty topping for a sugar snap peas, green beans and carrots."

Oh my god!! This was wonderful. Don't put to much on the broccoli or it will be too sweet. I added chopped almonds but think I'll do toasted slivered almonds next time.

I LOVED this! It added a nice amount of flavor to the broccoli and it wasn't too sweet. I used low sugar marmalade and it was perfect! I'll for sure be making this again.

I made this broccoli last night as a side dish with some salmon. I used 1/2 lb of broccoli and the full amount of butter sauce. I did change the sauce slightly, but only by adding more ground ginger, some salt and pepper. The end result was pretty good - but we found it a bit on the sweet side. I may make this again, but probably will serve it with something really savory!
