This was good, I really liked the sauce, but I felt it over powered the broccoli. It was a nice change, but I don't think it was good enough to out weigh the fat & calories of the butter.

I used toasted sunflower seeds as I didn't have Cashews handy and it was great. I surely make it again and make twice the sauce as my kids just kept asking for more sauce.

This recipe is a keeper! My family absolutely LOVED it. I added corn starch to thicken sauce a little and added a few more cashews. Would definately recommend this!

This dish was absolutely delicious and just what i was looking for - something other than boiled broccoli. I did find out why you need to serve it straight away as the sauce separated while i was waiting for the family to get together, but it tasted wonderful anyway. Will definitely make this again!!

After reading the reviews, I decided to give this recipe a try. I was surprised at how simple it was, but very very good. I used frozen broccoli and just cooked it according to the package. The sauce was soooooo good. I think the next time I make it, I will add a little cornstarch to thicken it up. I think it would be great on other things, like rice or chicken! Thanks for a new way to fix broccoli!

This was really tasty, we omitted the nuts and used half as much butter.

Absolutely the best broccoli I ever ate, and I'm a broccoli lover. My husband's lukewarm on broccoli, but he liked this very much, too. I left off the nuts because one of the people I was serving has a problem with them--and we never even missed them. Delicious!

My aunt made this at a family get-together and it was a HUGE hit! Everyone gobbled it up and even went back for seconds. It's 2 days later and I'm totally craving it. I'm sure it would also be great with fresh green beans but the broccoli "soaks up" the sauce perfectly so I think I'll stick with the little trees. :)

OMG! Thank you so much! I have been looking for a way to spice up our usual frozen veggie sides at every dinner. This one definitely did the trick! Since I didn't have cashews on hand, I used a few sunflower seeds and it turned out great! I can't wait to make it again!

This was an amazing dish!! My 12 year old son can't stand broccoli, but he loved it with this sauce!! The only adjustment I made to this recipe was that I added the garlic to the butter while it melted so the garlic wouldn't be spicy, then added a very small amount of cornstarch at the end to thicken it. Thanks for a great recipe!!!!

I fixed this for dinner last night, and we all liked it. As others have suggested, I think I will try adding a little cornstarch to thicken the sauce next time I make this so that it will stick to the broccoli a little better. I also cut way down on the fat, and used half butter and half EVOO. I also sauteed the garlic just a bit before adding the rest of the ingredients - and added some finely chopped ginger (just 'cause I'm into ginger these days!); it addeded a nice "zing". Thanks for a new way to serve broccoli.

Very good! The sauce was a tad bit too sweet for me, so next time I'll cut down on the sugar. Other than that, wonderful!

Thank you Thank you!!! I finally was able to get my hubby to eat a vegetable other than carrots or salad!! In his own words "I couldn't even taste the broccoli", and that is a compliment! I did use almonds (sliced), as I didn't have cashews on hand, added a nice taste and texture. Great recipe, very easy!

This was great! This sauce would be great on all types of vegetables. It could even be used with noodles or rice. Loved it - I will be making some extra just to keep around for a quick meal!
