Really tasty! I used less butter(about 1T), substituted honey for brown sugar, red pepper flakes for black, pine nuts for cashews, and balsamic vinegar for white. so basically everything but the soy sauce. Also I sautéed the garlic, pepper and pine nuts in the pan before adding the liquids and then let it boil a bit to burn off the vinegar. It was superb, I will be making again in the near future. I also mixed it up a bit with some cauliflower...

This is a great broccoli recipe. We grew broccoli this past summer and this recipe is a great way to keep up with the abundance. I half the amount of butter called for, with terrific results. My family isn't big on nuts, but DH does love pecans, so that's what I use.

OH. MY. GOODNESS. This has to be the best broccoli recipe I've ever tasted. Absolutely delicious flavor. This one's a keeper - I'll definitely be making this over and over again.

I doubled the recipe and added grilled chicken over rice. I sprinkled sliced almonds on top instead of cashews.

Double the sauce and cashews, serve over brown rice with grilled/baked chicken for a complete one-bowl meal. So good and easy to make. Reminds me of a dish I had at PF Changs. I did have to add a few more tbsp. of brown sugar to take away from the overpowering saltiness from the soy. Next time I will use low-sodium soy for a less salty taste. My kids even liked this and my husband and I loved it for a new way to get more broccoli into our diet. Thanks for sharing such a great recipe.

This broccoli is amazing! Even my 5yr old son who refuses to eat any vegetable cannot get enough of this broccoli! I make it exactly as stated, however, I have yet to add the cashews (I rarely buy them). Next time, I plan on cutting back on the butter though.

This was really good. I usually make the recipe as is to rate it. The only changes I made was to use a low sodium soy sauce and thickened the sauce with corn starch. This is a keeper!

Very good! Made exactly as stated. Hubby and son liked this quite a bit and asked that I make it again. I doubled the sauce and poured half over some boneless chicken breasts I sauted on the stove. Served with brown rice.

I really enjoyed this with our meal tonight. I didn't put any nuts in but made the sauce using 50% fat margarine and it was very tasty. I'll make it again like this soon.

My son, who smothers everything green on his plate with cheese sauce on Thanksgiving, said these tasted too good without it! There were many more compliments on these but that topped them all. This will be on the Thanksgiving menu from now on.

I made this tonight and the only thing I changed was adding almonds because we had no cashews. I'm sure cashews would have been better - but it was still awesome. I made it as a side dish to meatloaf. This is not a good side dish for meatloaf. I picked this because I can never find a broccoli recipe that my kids will eat - but this went over ok with them (age 3&5) Next time I make this I will make it with shrimp as a main course over rice. This was great! (oh - and I did take reviewers advice and let the garlic saute a bit before adding everything else.

I didn't have any cashews. This was good. I can see why everyone says this is like a stir fry. It can easily be changed to one. I used leftover sauce over my rice.
