I use oriental ramen noodles, only sunflower seeds instead of peanuts, and skip the green onions. I also like to add mandarin oranges and diced grilled chicken. Also for this amount of noodles and dressing, it's good to use to bags of salad.

Great recipe! I love quick and easy stuff like this...good for home or to take to work for a luncheon! Instead of chicken, I used one beef and one oriental style ramen; this give it a more asian flavor!

This is a great salad, but you're supposed to add the raman noodle flavor packets (I use chicken) to the dressing. A couple of people had mentioned that it seemed to be "missing something." That's it.

One word : Yummy! Didn't have the peanuts, so substituted sliced almonds, and I used oriental ramen instead of chicken.

This salad is a hit everywhere i take it! Since I add soy sauce, I recommend using less oil and vinegar. No p-nuts. Amazingly easy and fast. Highly recommended!!

This is one of my very favorites, been making this for about a year now. To make it even easier, simply buy Paul Newmans low fat Sesame Ginger salad dressing, very yummy...

My family loves this salad!!! I am not an onion person, so I skip the onions, and I use chopped, unsalted cashews instead of the peanuts.

I LOVE this salad! My mom has made it for years, it's a family favorite. When I make it, I like to leave the broken up Ramen noodles out of the salad mixture but serve them on the side. Each person can sprinkle them on top of their serving to add crunch. That way when you eat leftovers the next day you don't just have soggy noodles in your salad.

The first time I tried this salad was at a work potluck. It tickled my taste buds then and it still does now. I did alter it slightly by using oriental ramen mix, and I used slivered almonds instead. I also waited until just before serving to add the noodles to keep them crisp. Absolutely wonderful!

My husband loved this. I used regular coleslaw mix because that's all my market had that day, and pecans instead of peanuts as that's what I had on hand. I loved the dressing. Next time I think that I will omit nuts totally.

I like the recipe a lot! Although If you prefer the noodles crunchy I would save a few noodles for the next day to add to the salad. Also, I think the acid from the vinegar becomes too harsh the second day. I usually only have this salad the day I make it and toss the leftovers.

So good! I love the flavors! I made the salad as posted and will definitely NOT change anything! The only thing I might have changed would be make a little more salad dressing as the salad was a little tiny bit drier than I would like.

Great recipe. Have used a very similar one for years. I use approx 1/2 c sunflower seeds and 1/2 c slivered almonds instead of peanuts and like the roasted chicken Ramen soup the best. Very easy and very quick.

For more flavor, I used the Oriental ramen noodles instead of chicken, and that made a great difference. I've also added sheredded chicken to this, and it's quite a fulfilling meal.

This is a great recipe, a salad with ramen noodles, what a great way to get kids to eat salad. I like to put cole slaw mix in it as well.

Very good recipe. This is now one of my favorite things to take to work for lunch! I made it exactly as the recipe called the first time. After that, I’ve made it with a bit more of an “Asian” twist using shrimp Ramen instead of chicken; rice wine vinegar instead of cider; a few tablespoons of soya sauce; a few shakes of ground ginger and finally 1/8 cup vegetable oil + 1/8 cup sesame oil instead of all vegetable oil. It’s a great salad without my modifications though. Thanks for the recipe.
