I'm new to cooking and thought this recipe sounded so good. I steamed the broccoli florets for 10 minutes, and sauted the tomatoes for a few minutes until soft. I used cajun seasoning and onion powder instead of salt and sauted the shrimp cajun style. I spiced it up with cayenne pepper and added extra Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. I also threw in just a dash of sugar which gave it a slight sweet tang. I will definitely be preparing this again! Thanks

We loved this recipe! The only thing I would change is to use more broccoli.

I always follow a recipe as writen the 1st time, then teak if needs be, but this one was excellent as it was ! All I did was increase the salt to 1/2 tsp as I used unsalted butter and as allways I reserved some pasta water and added it @ the end as needed (common pasta sense fuh da dry babies). I do suggest steaming broccoli 2-3 min though & finnish cooking w/ shrimp, makes it a wee bit faster. I can see how easy this is to change up n such, but not nessesarily better jus different, say if like me when u make pesto & freeze some in cubes u could toss 1-2 of those & a dash of cream or half&half, that would be a good variation or even just whip an egg w/ 1/4-1/2 c milk & a grate or 2 of nutmeg (carefull wif da nutmeg powful stuff) in a blender or stick blender(don't want threads of albumen) & a tbsp of bacon drippings along w/butter n olive oil when cookin the onions & garlic n a tad of shrooms, yeah baby shrimp n broccoli carbonara, but again this was great as written! Thanks so much for this quickie -Much praise "Chef" Natalie Van Viegen

It ended up as a Broccoli/Cauliflower Pasta Toss as I didn't have enough broccoli. Also added more oil, pasta and wine.

I love this recipe! I added fresh and sun dried tomatoes to the mix. Then ended with a squeeze of lemon. Amazing.

I modified the recipe and so 5 stars based on that. I didn't have BowTie pasta so used Angel Hair instead. Also added some dry Vermouth (prefer that to wine when cooking), Grape Tomatoes cut in half, Italian Seasoning & a little Red Pepper Flakes. Very Good!

This was so so DELICIOUS! We used Soba noodles and it was wonderful. I added extra butter, a 1/4 c. shredded carrots I had on hand and a bit of dried parsley at the end. I had wanted to add the wine like was suggested but funny it was gone (hmmm), so added chicken broth instead. By the way, my husband loved it so much, he grabbed the bowl at the end of the meal and finished it. I threatened to take his picture to post here. Will be making again! Thanks!
