this is a very good start but needs finishing . [to me] i added cream of celery, minced onions , bell peppers [red&green]pepperjack cheese & parsley flakes. a little salt , pepper & garlic. italian bread crumbs . it was awesome added alot of flavor . everybody loved it and served it at my restaurant . thanks for the recipe .

LOVED IT with a little alteration. THIS IS THE RECIPE I WAS LOOKING FOR!!!! Easy, fast, healthy, economical, and Delicious. I read the other comments so I altered it slightly. I added a tablespoon Parmasan cheese and to the soup (Campbell's FAT FREE brocolli cheese that has nearly identical recipe on label)milk, and for the chicken I cooked two chicken breasts with 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper and some seasoning salt. I mixed half of the cheese in with the brocolli and chicken and mixed it all together. I also added one fourth cup Cooked instant Rice and ONE SLIGHTLY BEATEN EGG to milk/soup mixture because I was afraid I would end up with a runny soupy mess without these additions and my husband HATES sauces. It was a big hit. My husband who hates veggies and trying new things loved it. I had three helpings. I will definately use this again. I tried but couldn't find a chicken recipe I liked.

This was wonderful. I did add some seasonings as I just can't make a recipe without some. Just some simple salt/pepper, onion and garlic powder. The next day it was even better! Thanks!

Super easy to make! I add a bit more cheese because I love cheese probably more than I should and so does my family. The only thing I changed up was instead of bread crumbs I used stove top italian stuffing. It gives it a nice crunchy topping.

I have to admit, I didn't think this was going to turn out well. It seemed easy enough so I thought I'd give it a try but it sounded a little dull. I changed my mind after one bite. It is so good. I did cook the chicken with seasoning salt and onion powder for a little more flavor. Other than that, I kept the recipe exactly the same and both my fiance and I thought it was excellent.

This was very good with modifications. I boiled 4 chicken breasts and then cooked the broccoli in the chicken water. Mixed the chicken, broccoli, milk, 1/2c sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, cheese, pepper, lemon pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and red pepper all together. Placed it all in a pie plate and topped with bread crumbs and sprayed it with I can't believe it's not Butter. I then baked it until bubbly and served over white rice.

The first time I made this, I followed the recipe exactly and liked it. Tonight I decided to play with it a bit: I had 3 cups of leftover chicken and used it all (I do use a long baking dish). I added cream of celery soup to the cream of broccoli soup and milk. I had about half a cup of corn niblets left in the fridge so I threw those in over the chicken layer. I used a shredded cheddar-mozzarella mix over the top, plus a sprinkling of Reggiano parmesan. Finally, I was a bit generous with the butter and crumbs and mixed them until they were almost like a streusel in texture and put that over the top. I baked it at 400 and waited until it was really nicely golden brown. Consequently, I just had two healthy portions of it and cleaned my plate. I don't know how others will like this version, but oh, my, I think it is fantastic!

Good, but does need extra things added to it hence the lack of 5 star. Followed other reviewers. Added more bread crumbs, salt, pepper, seasoning mix, and garlic powder. More cheese too. Came out excellent and tasty!

almost too simple to make! great comfort food recipe :) I did as many others did and jazzed up the chicken for a little extra flavor.. I bought lemon pepper marinated chicken breasts, added a little bit of garlic, and a little splash of lemon juice over the broccoli! Delicious!

Soooooo good! Per other reviews I added another 1/2 cup of cheese and 1/2c of sour cream. I boiled the chicken in boullion and seasonings. Awesome recipe and will definitely make it again!

Made this last nite and both me and hubby really enjoyed it. I had 2 slices and he ate the rest! I dusted chicken with Accent before cooking it along w/ adding minced garlic. I also dusted the broccoli w/ garlic powder while layering. Thanks for a great recipe!
