5 stars based on how easy it is to prepare and that the family liked it.

This is a classic from my childhood. Instead of bread crumbs, my mom always topped it with french fried onions.

this recipe was really good. I love broccoli and chicken more than any other food so i knew this would be something i would like. i didnt alter the recipe much just added a little more cheese. it was a little time consuming because i cut the chicken and broccoli myself but i will definitely make it again!

Easy & awesome! I used frozen broccoli and microwaved it to warm it up. Instead of bread crumbs I crushed about a dozen Ritz crackers, doubled the amount of melted butter and drizzled it over the top. Yum!

needed more sauce, chicken, and bread crumbs, other than that it was really delicious. I liked the combination of ingredients together, but it just needed more of some things.

I made this with a can of chicken breast (the Costco/Kirkland brand) and served it over instant brown rice for a very quick meal (I did use fresh steamed broccoli, however). Very tasty, especially considering the minimal effort. It isn't 5 star/feed to company worthy, but definitely good for a quick week night meal.

I'll admit I changed the recipe pretty significantly by making my own cheese sauce (2 T each butter and flour, 1 1/2 cups of lowfat milk, 1/2 cup grated chedar, and I sauteed a little onion in the butter before adding the flour), but I try to avoid the funky fats and unnecessary salt in canned soups. I do use them occasionally but I happened to have some time on my hands the day I made this. It was fantastic. I followed the advice of others and added more seasoning to the sauce, in my case a few drops of worcestershire, low-sodium soy sauce, a little chicken bouillion, and cayenne pepper. And I didn't skip the cheese and breadcrumbs on the top even though I made a cheese sauce. Terrific recipe, a keeper!

This came out great everyone loved it. I did double the recipe and added sour cream (a half of a cup). I also seasoned the chiken with seasoned salt. Steamed my broccoli in garlic. I served it over egg noodles and it was a big hit! Sorry I couldn't give it 5 stars, only because I added so many things on my own.. Thanks for the start though!

As mentioned before, it is a little on the bland side as prepared here, but a little bit of salt and an herb or two can help with that. We went with a little marjoram and oregano. Also, when cooking the chicken, we cooked it with garlic, salt, pepper, and a little bit of lemon juice. You can pretty much tweak it however you like and make it a five-star recipe for you!

This was very tastey. I mixed the cheese in with the soup mixture, and used about 2 cups of cheese. Also instead of mixing the bread crumbs with butter, I just sprinkled about 1/2 cup on top. Will definitley make again.

I'm used to Chicken Divan made with Swiss cheese and wine, but this recipe was kid-friendly and pretty good. Next time I'll make some adjustments based off other member's comments: add sour cream and more cheese.

I have NEVER given a review, and I joined up just to review this. YUM! I made some tweaks (pre seasoned the chicken with Mrs Dash and some ground oregano before cooking it, used a microwave bag of broccoli, added some Velveeta chunks to the mix).... I was doubtful about this, being a canned soup recipe...but WOW it is great! Thanks for a keeper!

I thought this was good, but not spectacular. It's an easy dish to put together, but needs more "umpf." I did add salt, pepper and garlic powder and ritz crackers instead of the breadcrumbs.

YUMMY! This was so GOOD! I did use reduced fat soup (and I used cream of chicken because I didn't have any cream of broccoli). I also used 2% cheese. I added some garlic powder, onion powder, Mrs. Dash and basil and sage as another reviewers suggested. Thanks for the quick and easy recipe!

This is a great meal for a working mom who needs a quick meal for the family! My kids and husband loved it, we all had clean plates. I made a few changes: used a 10oz. can of cooked chicken (makes it even quicker), added 1/2 c. sour cream, steamed the broccoli instead of boiling, and used cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of broccoli. I also added a couple shakes of onion powder, pepper, and celery salt. Mixed everything together in a big bowl then poured into an 8x8 baking dish, covered with more cheese, bread crumbs and sprayed the top with butter spray. This recipe is a keeper!
